An attractive garden gîte independent adjoining the villa of the owners,15mn walk to Lorgues. All on groundfloor, it comprises a large lounge/well equipped kitchen/dining area, 2 comfortable size bedrooms, a shower room/washing basin,separate WC + washing facilities, a south facing terrace with furniture for outdoor meals with panoramic views overlooking Lorgues, the valley and mountains beyond, a boulodrome for a game of pétanque (French bowling), a 500M Camailleu tennis table, a carport to keep car cool in summer, situated in peaceful cul-de-sac. The 12 X 8 private pool has a salt electrolyse system + a barrier with safety child proof gate to the swim/pool enclosure, naturism no problem. The apartment contains high quality furnishing, comfortable beds (1 king size + 2 singles) with pocketed springs, a reversible clim + radiant radiators for winter time, and WI-FI internet connection. We make sure the apartment is spotlessly clean to make you feel at home, comfortable bedding is high on the list with a king size bed (1.60 X 2.00) and pocketed springs mattresses, and the 2 single beds can be put together. Lorgues is a friendly small town with character which offers a very popular Provençal market, artisanal shops, 2 large supermarkets. Sports activities are endless in the Var. It can be a gentle stroll from our house, a morning jog on country lanes or long distance rambling amongst woods & hills, cycling is very popular, a large swimming pool in town, 4 riding schools nearby, fishing and several canoeing clubs. The Var can also boast to having 14 golf courses, ST ENDREOL, one of the best only 25mn away. We recommend autumn and spring months with warm temperatures, basking under the sun on the terrace facing south. See our special months offers

The property is the ressult ot 12 years of work by the owner who is an architect. We think that the environment is privilege, much thought has been given to the project, and we hope to provide a memorable holiday in Provence.

We live in the property adjacent to the gîte so that we are aklways at hand for any reason - ie. something going wrong or advising

A very peaceful retreat

We stayed at this wonderful property for one week of our honeymoon in the Var. It was perfect. Even through it rained on a couple of the days we were there, it was perfect. The apartment is fully equipped and meticulously clean and the owners, Sergine & David, were so helpful and welcoming that we were comfortable and happy from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The pool is amazing - with a view over the surrounding villages and the hammock is a real treat.

We would recommend this to any friends. It is a truly lovely place to be.

Dearest friends Sergine & David,

After travelling around thye world, we have finally found what we were looking for. La Provence is breathtaking and your house made it perfect for us. Right from the start the flat made us feel at home. This is really the first time that Cynthia and me decided to come back to the same place again the following year. In fact, we have decided to come back twice! Please take care and see you again next year for a great time again, Cynthia & Robert from Holland and Belgium.

A lovely apartment

We stayed in this nice apartment for a week in july this year, and had a lovely time. 2 adults and 2 children (8,11) really enjoyed the place and the area around Lorgues. It's a great place to relax or go for daytrips around Provence. The apartment certainly lived up to our expectations, and we variated between relaxing with the pool (wich in fact is as lovely as in the pictures) and take the car to several villages in the Var region. Sergine and David were great hosts, and did their best to make sure we had a wonderful time. We hope we could come back here soon, and hopefully for a longer stay next time :-) We really recommend this place.

Fantastic location and pool

We have been renting gites in France for 20 years+, this is one of the special ones, the Pool is the best we have ever had, the views are stunning and made us want to just relax and soak up the sun around the pool more than we usually do, the village with its various bars ,shops and restaurants was a very pleasant 15 mins walk along some quiet roads, a bit steep coming back but no problem, clothes off !!and into the pool to cool down. Everything you need is in the gite, very comfortable beds and the whole place is cleanest and most sparkling we have ever had, Sergine is very particular about keeping things in order and it shows. We have many happy memories of our time talking, laughing and enjoying a glass of wine with Sergine and David (with his grat sense of humour), very,very nice people. Dont think twice about booking this property or you will miss out on a special place that is well looked after. Oh and if you like an all over tan, not a problem.
You may also get a visit from the wild boar during the night, unless Sergine has bougt a gun by now !!!

A wonderful place to stay

We spent two weeks in this gite with its beautiful setting and view, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The gite is located on the breezy, south-facing hillside overlooking Lorgues and the countryside beyond, but it is only a short walk to the village centre (15 or 20 minutes depending on the route). There is a well-equipped, good-sized kitchen for a gite of this size, and we appreciated the quality of the beds and linens, the excellent shower, the extra sink in the separate wc, the ample closets for our clothes and the large wooden table and chairs on the terrace. We were able to enjoy every meal outside, once or twice moving the table under a tree in the garden to avoid the heat of the midday sun. The salt-water infinity pool is just as beautiful as it looks in the photos. It is located in front of the owners’ house a short walk from the gite, but they made us feel as if it was our own private pool. We enjoyed meeting David and Sergine and were grateful for Sergine’s suggestions for day trips, including special beaches and villages to see, boat trips on the coast, favourite restaurants and recommended shops in the village. (We have kept her hand-drawn map of the village as a souvenir.) We were also happy to have wireless internet access. We were glad that we booked for two weeks rather than one, which allowed us to see more of this beautiful region. We would have been happy to stay longer!

  • During low season, there is a special offer of £650/800€ for 1 rmonth rental, with extra for electricity according to meter, Fronm the 1st of October to the 30th of May, , the rate for 1 night is 110€ for 2 people., 125€ for 3, and 140€ for 4. for a minimum with 2 nights minimum booking. Outside high and mid season, we are flexible for the day of arrival, and rates can be negotiable for late bookings. We accept either English pounds or euros by cheque or in cash.
