This is an amazing lodge, amazing panoramic views. Lorraine is a fantastic person and thanks to her we had an extraordinary time at the beach lodge. All the little homely extras are very touching. The lodge is packed with all facility's you will need Even for disability needs. We slept downstairs in the king size bed which was very comfortable and all the rooms were well lade out and very spacious. A big thanks to you Lorraine from Mrs & Mr B see you again in the future. :))
What a wonderful place for some peace and tranquility. The lodge was of superior quality with absolutely everything you could wish for. The owners Brian and Lorraine are fantastic people who go out their way to look after their guests. On the weekend we went a lot of snow had been drifting badly all day making the road up to the lodge pretty hard going. Brian kindly drove my car up for me. As the weather didnt improve much Lorraine kindly arranged for us to have an indian meal delivered to the lodge on Saturday night. This all went well above and beyond the call of duty. The views from the lodge are beautiful and staying in so cosy watching the snow fall was lovely. My husband is wheelchair bound but the lodge is of a great layout that he could easily get around. We will definitely be back for a longer break. Thanks again Lorraine and Brian for all your added extras.
Excellent Lodge really homely; owner Lorraine was lovely and was there to meet us when we arrived. Lovely lady, the lodge well it was absolutly beautiful and well worth the money thankyou Lorraine for a lovely holiday will be back again for sure. x
We left our hearts in the Hills of Maunderlea. The unit was spotless and modern. The walking paths were well maintained with plenty of places to rest along the way.The viewpoint takes your breath away, providing views extending to the North Sea. The owners are very visible and ready to help, even if it meant sharing their Sat-Nav with chronically lost guests like us. Whether you follow the Whiskey trail, play golf, hike or just relax you will find plenty to do in Northern Scotland. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. We would definitely recommend this property to our friends and family. We hope to return soon.

“As annual visitors to the Banff area for the past number of years, we were made aware of the lodges at Hill of Maunderlea. My wife and I, together with our granddaughter, spent three fantastic weeks using the lodge as our base. The lodges are not only beautifully appointed with magnificent views but are also ideally located to explore the area. It was a wonderful experience to be welcomed by Lorraine who not only catered for our every requirement but made us feel completely at home. We have already booked the lodge for next year and cannot wait to visit again.”
