Spacious accommodation for 7 people, dogs welcome.

Our holiday home is situated in a very quiet part of Baiter Park. The harbour side is 3 minutes walk and Poole park with all its amenities is 5 minutes walk. Enjoy the boating, sailing, cycling, harbour boat trips, tennis, bowling, skating, children's play areas, arts centre, swimming pool and of course, the award winning Sandbanks beaches. The spectacular Jurassic coast is also very accessible. Our home has a large south facing patio at the back, a real sun trap. The ground floor has a large and light open plan sitting and dining room with TV (with freeview) and DVD player. The kitchen is fully fitted with gas hob and cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washer/drier and fridge freezer. On the first floor, there are 4 bedrooms. The large main bedroom has a king size bed and en-suite shower room. There are two further double bedrooms and a single room. There is also a family bathroom with shower-over bath. Bed linen is provided for all beds. There is a garage and off street parking.

About Mark and Penny Hockey

We started by buying a wonderful holiday home in Poole with views of the harbour. This was quickly filled and we were having difficulty accommodating all the visitors who wanted to return so we decided to purchase another holiday home in the same area.

This one has been particularly popular because of its quiet location and sunny patio as well as being able to accommodate 7 people very comfortably.

What makes this house unique

It is in such a lovely location, quiet and peaceful and yet only a few minutes walk from the harbourside park and lots of local activities. Poole and the surrounding area has so much to offer holidaymakers young and older!

Very nice house in excellent location

We enjoyed a long weekend here with the family. Poole quay, the park and the old town are all within a nice ten minute walk.
The property itself was very nice and clean and very spacious in particular the good sized bedrooms. ( there were 5 adults and 2 toddlers),with a large and secure patio area to the rear.
The owners seem very helpful and approachable and responded very quickly to all correspondence right from initial booking queries through to the end of our stay.

Very quiet no through traffic you could not even here the train going past. The house is well kept. Not far from ALDI/ASDA, and all the amenities around the Poole Park/Poole harbour areas.

A fantastic, relaxing long weekend away with the family by the coast. The house is perfectly located in short walking distance of all amenities. Only 10 minutes from the beautiful Poole harbour, restaurants and shopping centre. Penny and Mark made us feel very welcome in their lovely home from the point of enquiry, hopefully see you again soon.

Lovely comfortable home in just the best location. Poole town and harbour are just a short walk away. We walked in to Poole most evenings and enjoyed bike night, fireworks evening and car night whithout the hastle of parking and joining the traffic jams to go home. Also great for the children as they love crabbing and again the sea is just 5 minutes away. We holiday in and around the Bournemouth area every year and this house has been the best location we have found. Going further away than Poole the house is situated very near to the main routes for all the other areas of interest. Highly recommend this home for location, cleanliness and value for money, the owners are very helpful and do everything to assist with any special requirements. Already planning for next year.

Immaculately clean, very comfortable house, with everything we required for a self-catering holiday. Short walk to the sea and 10 minute walk to the Harbour area with plenty of nice restaurants and the Dolphin shopping centre approx 15 mins walk away. We would definitely book this house again.

Our holiday home is located close to Poole Quay, in a quiet harbour side park. Poole harbour with all its amenities and Poole park are only a short walk away. Sandbanks beaches are a 15 minute drive. The chain ferry leaves the Sandbanks peninsula every 20 minutes for Purbeck and its fabulous scenery and Jurassic coastline. Inland, the New Forest is also very accessible for a day trip. To the north, the market town of Ringwood and the city of Salisbury are easy to visit. To the west, there many picturesque Dorset villages.

Other Activities: ice skating, windsurfing, kayaking, harbour tours.
