3 bedrooms sleep 6, 1 1/2 bathrooms, patio garden

The cottage is next to the Meteorological Observation Tower which overlooks the whole of Falmouth. The tower was built in 1868 - Victoria and Albert Cottages lead away from it, and form part of a network of Victorian streets in this desirable residential area. You will get great views over the water as you take a 5 minute walk to the shops or walk in the opposite direction to Gyllyngvase beach.

There are many restaurants in the town, but Indaba Beach at Gyllyngvase beach is our favourite!

Children will love the play area in Bowling Green Park, which can be accessed from Observatory Cottage without crossing any roads.

This is a great location for families, with facilities all around including activities for all ages and all weathers! Observatory Cottage is adjacent to a park with play area for young children and basketball and grass areas.

The shops, galleries, museums and beaches of Falmouth are within walking distance of this charming property. There is a patio garden at the rear, and a small sitting out area at the front which enjoys morning sun.

Falmouth is well placed for a holiday, providing walks, swimming, fishing and sailing for active folk and cinema, indoor pool and the famous Maritime Museum for days when the weather is less than perfect!

Ferries run from Prince Phillip Pier to Truro and St Mawes, and Penzance, St Ives and the Eden Project - and so many more - merit a day's excursion.
