Bude has everything! As well as the N.T Coastline, its rolling countryside is an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Bude has become a centre for all things active, be it a 140 ft abseil down the magnificent cliffs, surfing the Atlantic breakers, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, mountain boarding or sailing.
Alternatively, laze the day away on miles of life guarded sandy beaches or bathing in Bude’s famous sea pool. Followed by a cream tea! All this and a host of wet weather attractions are within walking distance or a short drive from the house.
Meander from the sea lock along the canal’s flat tow paths, flanked by nature reserves-ideal for bird watchers, walkers, wheelchairs, buggies and bikes.
For History lovers, visit Bude Castle Heritage Centre, Stratton Battle ground, picturesque Clovelly harbour, or king Arthurs Tintagel, both within ½ an hour.
Plymouth National sea life centre, the Eden project, lost gardens of Heligan, Port Isaac, Padstow and more are all within a day trip
