My family (kids are 15, 15, 14, and 12) stayed for aprox 10 days at "Amadeus". This unit is on the 3rd floor (no elevator). Pictures are accurate and this flat has just the space that we needed to have breakfast, some diners and a good rest. Beds are comfortable, may be a little short for a tall person but mattresses and pillows are ok. Same for the sofa bed in the living room. Appliances and small appliances worked well (washer, dryer, gas stove, microwave, toaster, cafe maker, TV, wifi). Good water pressure and temp on the shower, but the shower sprinkler is too low for the average person. Owner provided clean towels, bed linens and blankets for the six of us. The apartment was clean at arrival and the check in process was sooth. Centrally located to tour the city in every direction. Tube is 5 min away but we hardly use it since we walked a lot (A LOT!!!). Lots of restaurants, pubs, bakeries, theaters, shops and markets close by. As other renters pointed out, the street is very busy at night and your sleep can be disrupted. I got used to it after the second night and it wasn't a big issue for us but that is something to consider. Overall, the flat was in line with my expectations, no luxuries but functional, in a great location.

Great Apartment, Great Location

We stayed at Amadeus as a family of 4 over Christmas and New Year. From our first enquiries, to checking in and checking out all went very smoothly. We checked in with the people at Pulcinella Restaurant a couple of doors from the apartment who were very welcoming and keen to offer assistance. We would recommend eating at the restaurant too, very good food!
The location accesses every cafe, shop, restaurant you will ever need during your stay, most west end shows are close or not far away as well as other sightseeing destinations.
Amadeus in on the third level but the stairs are easily manageable. Perhaps this is because we had just come from Amsterdam though in which they were not. Despite possibly being one of the noisiest times of the year we did not find the noise too onerous. One has to remember that you can't have location and silence in one. Yes we were woken a couple of times with noise from outside but it did not become a problem.

The apartment is nicely furnished and clean. It is not a spacious apartment but suited our family adequately.

Cant be more central than this! Amadeus

We arrived as a party of 6, all adults. The apartment was quite accomodating, located right in the middle of the Old Compton St. There was pretty much everything you might need in the apartment so no need to take towels, soap etc.
there was even cable and a dvd player. One downside was the wifi. Although it usually worked in the mornings, overall it was problematic, connection wasnt reliable.

We almost never used the tube or the buses, and in the cases we did, all stops were within 4 min walking distance, tops. There is a variety of restaurants, clubs, attractions all in a 500 m range.

One of the things we enjoyed the most about the apartment, was the roof that can be accessed with a ladder. We really felt home. At the end of our visit, we also had a chance to take a look at the Maria Anna apartment which was equally nice. Thanks for everything.

My father and sister-in-law stayed in this wonderful apartment whilst visiting London. The apartment is very comfortable and has all the mod-cons, with tasteful decor. Also, the owners Tony and Manoela are extremely friendly and did everything they could to accommodate my in-laws and were always on hand to assist or answer any questions they had.

I cannot praise this particular apartment enough. It has plenty of room, is in a great central location, which has endless tourist attractions and is well served by public transport. Also there are a plethora of different bars and restaurant on the same street, so everything you would ever need is right under your nose.

We will booking to stay here again. Thanks Manoela!

My parents, my best friend and I stayed here during Christmas's Day.There are many useful facilities. It is very convenient to use them. Guide information booklet is very helpful. Beds are very comfortable. The location is very well and it is very near to China Town. The transportation is very fast, no congestion. Croissant is very delicious and it is worth to tasting it. The breakfast store is opposite to the apartment. It's very nice except that there is a little noise at night. Generally speaking, it is a very a nice department as if I live my home. My parents and my friend absolutely agree with me. Now, my parents have gone back to Beijing. Thank u for the owner to provide us so beautiful apartment. We are very happy in London.

Shopping couldn't be easier, you are 3 minutes from Oxford Street, Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square. Charing Cross Road and British Museum are few hundreds yards away. So, your feet do the job.
