This duplex- apartment is located in Saint Germain des Pres, on a calm, quiet street. The apartment is very safe, on the top floors of a residential building with a private elevator.
An elevator leads directly to the top floor of the duplex, where the kitchen and living area are located. A small interior staircase leads to the bedrooms and bathrooms below. The lower level also has direct access to the exterior stairwell and elevator.
Both bedrooms have king-sized beds. In one of the rooms, the bed can convert into two twin sized beds. They also both have en-suite bathrooms. One has a shower, the other has a bathtub. Both are big: a true luxury in Paris! There is also a separate half bathroom off of the entry. In total, there are three toilets.
The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances. The apartment has a large living room and is equipped with a TV, ipod player and WiFi.
The apartment, whose decor is chic and modern, also has a private roof-top terrace of about 50 square meters. This terrace is accessible by a fold-down stair, which is admittedly steep, but very stable.

The location of this apartment was terrific and surrounded by galleries, restaurants, food stores, etc. The a/C in august was a pleasure to return to after a long day of site seeing. The view from the terrace is remarkable and can see many of the highlights of Paris. Megan O'Reilly was wonderful. She was helpful and always available for questions. The service was incredible and I would definitely recommend to others. And hope to go back again myself!
Pictures do not do this property justice! I was traveling with a group (we were two couples) who are typically very hard to please and we were all thoroughly impressed with both the unit as well as its location. The layout was absolutely perfect, with two master bedrooms (which I believe can also convert to one master bedroom and one bedroom with two beds), as well as a fully functional kitchen, living room, dining room & half bathroom. The biggest bonus however is the private rooftop terrace, which was fully furnished. The views from the terrace were absolutely spectacular (Notre Dame, Montparnasse Tower, and Eiffel Tower were all within view), which we thoroughly enjoyed over a bottle of wine, cheese, and bread. The beds were comfortable (a bit on the firm side), finishes were all upscale and everything (including the wifi) was in good working order. Additionally, the staff managing this property were very responsive.
The only issue (and the only reason I did not give this property 5 stars) is that the lift (elevator) was out of service during our entire stay (6 days, 5 nights). Given that the unit is on the 5th floor and we had heavy luggage (as well as expectations that the lift would be working), we were more than a bit disappointed with this. That being said, the property management company was aware of the issue and the speed of repairs is out of their control, so I don't fault the management firm for this. With any luck, the lift is now repaired and this won't be an issue for future guests.
I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Paris -- its location in St Germain and quality/size/layout simply cannot be beat.
What a wonderful visit to Paris and at the best spot in the city! We were so pleased with the location of this apartment and ended up walking to all our destinations, it was so central. The very secure entry through the courtyards made us feel safe the entire visit and the ease of coming and going was such a bonus!
The apartment was fabulous! We had all the amenities one could want and room, room, room! Everyone had plenty of space and the comfort level was superb! Our bed was heavenly and there was no noise so we rested well every night! The kitchen was well stocked and the grocery very near by so we were able to eat in if desired! In fact we spent a couple of evenings on the rooftop watching the sun set and enjoying cheeses and breads and wine....it was lovely!
Paul at Glamaparis was a tremendous help and everything was spelled out for us, so there was no confusion. He was right there when we arrived and so generous with his explanations and time....we 'knew it all' by the time he left and he was very easy to communicate with during the week.
I don't think we will ever be able to top a stay like this one. This apartment truly exceeded our expectations and we are most appreciative for the fabulous visit!
Following our stay, but before writing this review, I reread the previous reviews of this property that were provided in English. I find them to be valid and informative descriptions of our stay as well. Eleven of the twelve previous guest reviewers rated this property as five-star. Helen A. rates it four-star, while her write up also indicates very high overall satisfaction. These accurate reviews were obviously written by discerning guests, not merely people enchanted with Paris overall and therefore guilty of ‘grade inflation’.

Location: accessible to everything, safe neighborhood, one favored by tourists for the right reasons, and in a quiet building populated by local residents.
Apartment: modern, elegant, well-appointed, well-kept and clean. The owner’s extensive renovation took creative advantage of light, space, functional layout of rooms, high-end fixtures and furnishings.
Terrace: panoramic and varied views of iconic buildings, enjoyed from appropriate roof-top tables and chairs, with ship-ladder access, which is fun but challenging for potential guests with restricted flexibility.
Photos: the photos and floor plan provide a complete and accurate description of what you can expect and will experience.
The Glamaparis Team: they will be your capable guides and safety-net for a wonderful experience. They provide an excellent orientation and any help you ask for. Their published invitation to customers is ‘don’t hesitate with questions or special requests’, and they follow through. As Daniel B.’s review concluded, ‘No more hotels for us in Paris’. We agree and plan to be back next year with Glamaparis to enjoy this five-star accommodation.
Our family of four stayed here for a week, and we could not have been more happy with our choice. This property is located in a perfect location a short walk to the river, garden, shopping and cafes. In fact, Carrefour Supermarket and Paul Bakery are literally right around the corner. We loved shopping there every morning and bringing breakfast back to the apartment. You could stay out late at night, and feel safe walking back home. The apartment is nicely decorated and very comfortable. Having two floors provided all of the space you could ever need, and the rooftop deck was amazing. Being able to sit up there at night with a glass of wine while looking at the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame and Montmartre was memorable. I would have to agree that not having a formal shower in the master bath was annoying at times, but that did not ruin anything. Having the elevator turned out to be a necessity and a wonderful luxury for managing luggage. The people at Glamaparis were very helpful, accommodating and friendly (expecially Jonathan). We had a great visit and look forward to returning to this property in the near future. Thank you very much for your hospitality.
This apartment's location is excellent. Seeing the Eiffel Tower so close to us was so special. We were so happy to come home after a long day of sightseeing and walking. We had the most amazing time.
The apartment totally lived up to the description and photographs and exceeded our expectations. It is modern, elegant and very well appointed with everything one might need. Supremely comfortable beds! It has the bonus of a well furnished roof terrace for enjoying the sun. The Glamaparis agency were extremely helpful and stayed in touch throughout our stay, responding promptly to any queries. They met us at the apartment at the start and end of our five night stay and organised taxis to and from CDG airport.
The apartment could not have been better located for us, in the heart of our favourite St Germain quarter, in a quiet side street, yet only a few minutes walk from the bustling Rues de Seine and du Buci, with all their great shops, patisseries, cafés and restaurants.
There are two metro stations within five minutes walk and also a Batobus stop, which does an eight stop, hop on hop off loop up and down the Seine, enabling you to visit many of the top attractions. We enjoyed the 10-15 minutes walk will took us to the wonderful Musee D'Orsay, the Ile de la Cite, Notre Dame, the Louvre and many other nearby places of interest.
Just round the corner in the Rue Jacob is the wonderful little restaurant "Au 35" where we have been going regularly for several years.
We very much hope we will be able to return to this lovely apartment and would not hesitate to recommend it to our friends.
The apartment is in Saint Germain des Près, in one of the most enchanting neighborhoods in all of Paris. The surrounding cafés are the same ones visited by Jean-Paul Sartres, Simone de Beauvoir, and Pablo Picasso. Nearby as well is the Jardin de Luxembourg, the Latin Quarter, and the Cluny Museum.The area is quintessentially Parisian and its central location ensures that you'll be able to take advantage of all that Paris has to offer.
