Luxury Apartment for 5 persons - completely renovated and decorated in 2011

The 2 apartments at the Abel Tasmanstraat have been completely renovated in 2011: they have beautiful new furniture and are freshly painted.

Tasman 1 can accommodate up to 5 people and Tasman 2 up to 10 people. They are suitable for both families and friends and can also be rented together to accommodate larger groups, up to 15 people.

The apartments are located in a historic building on the 2nd floor and have a breathtaking view over the river ‘t IJ, where many historic sailing ships pass each day.

The apartments are equipped with everything you might need during your stay: a coffee maker, a flat screen TV, books, a DVD player, a microwave, dishwasher and much more.

The neighbourhood is trendy and it takes only 10-15 minutes to walk to the Canals. Public transport to the other parts of the city is close by and easily accessible, so you can be in the middle of the centre within no time! This makes it a perfect place to start exploring Amsterdam.

Within 5 minutes walking you can find a Spar supermarket and a Albert Heijn supermarket, as well as many shops, bars and restaurants. Just around the corner is the Bagels and Beans, where you can drink delicious coffee and have breakfast for less than 6 euro! Great things to see on walking distance from the apartment are the Westerpark, which has a market one in a while and is the perfect place for a picnic or moment of relaxation, and the Haarlemmerdijk and straat, which is full of beautiful small shops, bars and restaurants. From here you can go on to explore the whole city, because you are already at the Canals then.

Another recommendation is to visit Haarlem, a beautiful and typical Dutch city only 15 minutes by train from Amsterdam Central station. It is no large city but there is so much to do, like visiting one of the famous museums (Teylers Museum and Frans Hals Museum for example) and shopping in all the small streets with great shops! This beautiful Penthouse apartment has a stunning view from the top of the building. The apartment has two floors with stairs within the house. It is located in a historic building. The apartment is situated on the 3rd floor with a breathtaking view over the River IJ on a site with historic sailing ships. A large living room, a large wooden table with chairs, and a large 42' Flat Screen TV Cable TV and DVD player. The big kitchen is fully equipped with Microwave, oven, dishwasher and a coffeemaker. On the entry level are the 3 Dutch themed bedrooms with double beds, a balcony and the bathroom. The appartment has 3 bedrooms: There is a Royal Bedroom, a Van Gogh Bedroom and a Flower Bedroom. The top floor contains the livingroom and has a roofterrace. It offers much luxury as for example a large Flat Screen TV Cable TV and a DVD player, WiFi, a nice couch and a dining table. These beautiful apartments have a stunning view. They are situated directly at the most River IJ which connects all canals. It's just 8 minutes from the Central Train Station and only 25 minutes by public transport from Schiphol Airport.

The public transport stop is in front of the door (including the free Amsterdam ferry). Less than 5 min. from the apartments is a large Supermarket. The famous Haarlemmerdijk is just minutes away. with it's many cafe's, restaurants and specialty shops. From the Haarlemmerdijk you can explore the Canals and the rest of the historic centre.

Weather you intend to fly to Amsterdam or come by car (paid parking is available). Weather you want to explore Amsterdam on foot or bicycle you will love this apartment.

Notes: This house was newly decorated in 2011. It has a lovely view and a very spacious livingroom and the rooms are all very light. If you have any special wishes, we are happy to help you out to the best of our abilities. Champagne, fresh flowers, a reservation for a concert, you name it.. We will try to arrange it for you, just let us know when you reserve the apartment what you would like. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen where you can cook breakfast or even dinner when you don't feel like going out. A large Albert Heijn supermarket is just a few minutes away. There is a possibility to rent Tasman 1 together with Tasman 2, so they can house 15 people together. They are in the same building, so there is no long distance between them.

Visited Amsterdam this december with few friends, lived in this Beautiful apartment. It is a very well furnished apartment and has a beautiful decor. It has an amazing view and is in a great location. Its perfect for a relaxing get away with friends/family. Home Away from Home :D

stayed here for a friends stag party weekend, after going in the city, it was great to come back and relax in this beautiful apartment. Near by everything but in a quite zone. The owner is really helpful and friendly. He made our stay very comfortable. i definitely will recommend it to a friend and will use for future stays. Thanks again and see you soon

We have just returned from a weekend in Amsterdam to celebrate my 50th Birthday ( there were 12 of us) and stayed at these apartments.
I just wanted to say that these apartments were lovely in a great location
very clean and tidy with plenty of room for us all.
We all had a great time and would not hesitate to return to these
lovely apartments.

We recently stayed in these apartments to celebrate our friends 50th birthday! The apartments were stunning with a view over the water and in a central location. We cannot thank Sony enough for all his help and good communication.
The apartments were clean and spacious and highly recommended.

We were a group of 10 and everyone of us slept well in this amazing apartment with a lovely view. It was very easy to come to an understanding about everything with the host, Thomas. If you want to spend your holiday in relaxed spirits, this is the place to be!
