This large maisonette consists of two floors with direct street access from the ground level. The ground floor is open plan; it incorporates dining, living and a kitchen area. The living area is comfortable and equipped with a TV, DVD, ipod dock and board games.
The kitchen is equipped with good quality kitchenware, extractor fan, fridge-freezer and dishwasher.
The dining area has an extendable table which can fit up to 8 people.
The living area has two sofa-beds with a coffee table.
At the end of the kitchen there is a spiral staircase which leads down to the master bedroom, bunk room and bathroom.
Included in the rental price is access to a wide range of French and English language cable TV, and a DVD player.

Excellent location two minutes walk from the shops, bars, restaurants and the main chairlifts. Comfortable and spacious living area. All kept very clean and tidy. Bathroom was good, the two bedrooms were a bit of a compromise but the rest of the apartment made up for them. The apartment owner was very helpful, would definitely recommend.

5 friends and I stayed in this simply lovely maisonette for 5 nights in August. We found the two bedrooms big enough for us all so we didn't need to use the sofa bed, although it looked very comfortable!
The open plan living room was such a nice space for us all to hang out in, the kitchen is well equipped - enough for our daily cooked breakfasts! We especially enough have a long supper altogether around the large dining table.
Most of us had visited the area at least once before so we had some idea of where things were - it wouldn’t have mattered if we hadn't though as the apartment is full of information on the local area and the tourist information in the town is very helpful.
The maisonette is in a great position, close to everything and just off the main street so still lovely and quiet. Most importantly, there is a bakery a stone’s throw away for you morning pain au chocolat and in the summer there is a farmers market on the road parallel, great for some stinky cheeses.
Clearly in the winter Les Gets is great for snow sports, being so close to Morzine too, but in the summer, although quieter in the towns there is still so much to do, I could have spent the whole time looking at the beautiful views but there are some great mountain walks as well as mountain biking, golf, Go Ape, beautiful lakes to swim in and I've never seen so many paragliders!
We had such a lovely time in Les Gets and I really can't recommend the town or maisonette highly enough for a small group of friends.
Can't wait to get back next summer!
Me and six friends have just returned from an amazing trip to Les Gets. This apartment is really well finished and well equipped. On quite a strict budget, we did a lot of cooking ourselves and found the kitchen and facilities to be more than adequate. We also had a Raclette meal one night which was great fun!
The living area is very spacious and allowed easily enough room for the 7 of us to vegetate and analyse the day's trials and tribulations out on the mountain in great detail. The Portes Du Soleil ski area offers so much variety I'm still regularly finding new areas after my 3rd visit! If you haven't been before I thoroughly recommend doing so. The apartment is a very short walk to lifts on both sides - you can pick up a croissant or 2 on the way.
All in all this apartment offers great value for money mainly due to the size of the living area. I have been to many ski apartments that you can't wait to get out of in the evening, but the problem with this one is getting out!
We absolutely loved it here. Fantastic location, only a few minutes walk from supermarket, restaurants, ski hire and slopes. Oh and the bakery was seconds away which was handy in the morning!
Ideal apartment for a family. Fabulous open plan living area, with breakfast bar, which made it very sociable. Bedrooms in the basement meant they were quiet at night time. It was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It was the sort of apartment we would love to own.
The owner has good communication so was always available to answer questions etc. Fabulous holiday. We absolutely love Les Gets. Highly recommend staying here!
And also we recommend 2 restaurants - Le Tyrol and Le Boomerang, but for lunch on the slopes go to Le Rocher in Morzine, near bridge/tunnel...great find and lovely food at a great price.
We really enjoyed our holiday The apartment is in a great location and is quite spacious . For us it worked fine but you do come straight into the apartment from the road so there is no where to really store skis and boots except in living area We were 6 people so had to have 2 people in lounge as bunk room quite small , would be fine for young children .
This place was fantastic!
Very reasonably priced for somewhere this spacious and in such a great resort. Normally for this amount of space - you can actually enjoy hanging out in the flat - you would pay chalet prices. Apartments In ski resorts are normally box sized with everyone squeezing in. This place felt like a family home.
Four friends and I spent 8 days here last winter, there was a great variation in our skiing ability and the number of times we had all been. Everyone was single but with people using the three double beds we could have easily had another three people along. would have been a bit snug then but still so much better than our previous experience renting micro-flats in Tignes, La Plangne, Morzine etc before.
If I was going to make a criticism the outside of the building is no picturesque chalet, but when do you spend a long time looking at the building you live in.
Its in the centre of town and easily accessible for the shops etc and about five min (maybe eight in ski boots - but the shops let you keep your equipment locked up there anyway) from the bottom of the slopes.
As the reader can probably tell I had a great time, was really pleasantly surprised both by the property and the town and will definitely go again. Also - Les Gets generally is much cheaper than the other resorts I've been to with equally good skiing.
Oh I should also say the landlord was great, well to be honest we did not have much to discuss as nearly everything went perfectly but seemed like a nice guy and everything professionally done.
Les Gets is a traditional Savoyard town with an authentic French ambiance. Despite the more traditional feel, for those who don’t want to miss out on the apres ski, it boasts lively bars and a nightclub.
Les Gets provides a great range of skiing conditions; from wide open shallow pistes, perfect for beginners, through to advanced areas for the adventurous. It even provides boarder-cross and freestyle jib districts. Fortunately, Les Gets benefits from being part of the massive Portes Du Soleil ski area, which has been tipped to host the 2018 Winter Olympics.
The Portes du Soleil ski area is one of the largest ski areas in the Alps providing:
- 280 pistes: 26 black, 105 red, 112 blue, 37 green.
- 201 lifts.
- 650 km of tracks.
- 9 snow parks.
- 89 restaurants on the slopes.
