This second floor apartment has a large open plan living area with modern fully equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge area. The lounge area has a 2 seater sofa and 3 seater sofa/bed, English freesat TV - not many programs available at present in Portugal but TV and DVD/video player available. Patio doors lead out to a small balcony overlooking the condominium pools. A great place to sit and have a relaxing glass of wine at the end of the day and watch the more energetic holiday guests swimming in the pool below.
Bedroom one has a 5ft bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, dressing table and bedside cabinets.
Bedroom 2 has twin beds with pull out guest bed underneath (ideal if you have 3 children you prefer to sleep in one room together), fitted wardrobes, chest of drawers, dressing table and bedside cabinet plus a travel cot.
The light and airy bathroom has a full size bath with shower over, toilet, bidet and basin. There is also a large entrance hall with fitted cupboards along one side.
The condominium has secure underground parking with lifts to all floors.
Heating: The air-conditioning is reversible therefore heating available in the cooler months.
There are several small supermarkets and banks within a few minutes walk from the apartment plus a medical centre and English speaking dentists. The old part of the town is a maze of cobbled streets with numerous little shops, bars and restaurants. There is a fruit and vegetable Market every Saturday.
We would request that guests do not smoke in the apartment and no pets are permitted.
Smoke and gas detector alarms are fitted in the apartment.
Holds Portugese rental licence.
We are Adrian and Carol. We have 2 daughters now 19 and 22 and a son who is now married with children of his own.
Although the apartment is on the second floor, we have made everything as safe as possible for our own young grandchildren.

The apartment is ideally located in a nice quiet spot but only a few minutes walk to the shops, bars, restaurants and beach.
The apartment is spacious, light and airey and furnished to be comfortable and welcoming. We love our apartment and Armacao de Pera and wish we could spend more time there.
Armacao de Pera is in a lovely central location in the Algarve with good road links to all areas. Public transport is available and a rental car isn't essential but, to really get out and about and visit some of the beautiful towns and villages around, a rental car is a bonus.
We all had a wonderful holiday and thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Portugal
The apartment had everything we needed with plenty of room for the 5 of us. The kids made good use of the pool and it was nice to be able to sit on the balcony and watch them.
I am quite sure I'll be in touch again in the future to book another holiday at Alto dos Navegantes.
Whether you are interested in history, wildlife, water parks, shopping, golf, sight seeing, horse riding, water sports, motor racing or just getting a sun tan - Armacao de Pera is the perfect location, ideally positioned in the centre of the spectacular Algarve. It boasts one of the longest sandy beaches along the Algarve therefore, even at the height of the summer the beaches are never too crowded. At one end the fishermen still work from the beach and pull their boats out onto the sand at the end of the day. A boat trip to enjoy exploring the fascinating caves along the coast is not to be missed. Albufeira, the Zoo marine park, the Algarve shopping mall with its host of shops, cinemas and bowling, Vilamoura marina, several large water parks and numerous golf courses are all within a short driving distance. There are also many lovely old towns and villages to visit. Many of the major tourist attractions on the Algarve are within a 30 minute drive of Armacao de Pera.
Golf: There are approximately 20 golf courses, including 6 international courses, all within a short driving distance and more courses planned for the future. For the golfing enthusiast - you will be spoilt for choice!
