Built in 1820 this first floor flat originally formed part of the regional bank manager's apartments. Fully and tastefully modernised in recent years, it retains several original features. Its location - on South Street and immediately opposite the historic Holy Trinity Church - places you right at the heart of the beautiful and historic town of St Andrews. Two beaches, the harbour, cathedral and castle, Scotland's oldest university (over 600 years old) and the world famous home of golf, the Old Course, are all minutes walk away and you will find an array of interesting shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs almost on your doorstep. At the back of the property, you can enjoy a lovely, secluded garden. This is a perfect base for golfers or for exploring Fife, its fishing villages, Edinburgh, Dundee, Falkland Palace, Glamis Castle or the beautiful Angus Glens. You will have a wonderful holiday here.

A Hidden Gem in St. Andrews

Golfing break

Spacious living area, very well equipped kitchen , relaxing rainforest shower, 2 airy and light bedrooms plus an A1 location added up to a wonderful week away. Our hosts communicated frequently before arrival and left thoughtful welcoming gifts of flowers milk and wine. Parking was never a problem despite daily drives to the links courses. Fantastic location also meant an easy walk to the castle, cathedral and harbour as well as the many shops and restaurants. We would definitely return!

Family break

We have stayed at this flat a couple of times and plan to return in the future, it is as described and Mark and Vivien are great hosts who will reply promptly to any queries. The location is perfect for the bars restaurants and beaches on offer in St Andrews.
