This stunning contemporary 'boutique hotel' style house is located right in the heart of central London and benefits from a total renovation (completed Aug '14). Finished only to the highest of standards including a brand new, handmade kitchen/diner with recessed LED lighting, Miele appliances, accessed via a stunning atrium and magnificent glass staircase.

It has 3 beautifully appointed bedrooms with bespoke built-in cupboards, 2 en-suite bathrooms (master wet room), plus additional bathroom with cast iron roll top bath. Being on four floors, the house works well for larger and smaller groups. The large living room includes a 50' 3DTV/DVD player, surround-sound system and sofa-bed. The house has plantation shutters throughout, air con, sat TV, gas-log open fire, combi-microwave, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, linen/towels, hair-dryer & iron.

A great public-access gym and stunning swimming pool is 2-min walk away. This unique property oozes the very best cosmopolitan style.

Perfect London base for our wedding weekend

We got married in Soho and found Britannia House to be the perfect base for us. Our friends were blown away by the property and location, which was busy - but not too noisy. The property was clean and generally wel maintained ( a couple of table lamps had bulbs out, but that's about it).

One thing to note, there are lots of stairs - we took the top room and knew it after 3 days!

Samuel was professional and easy to deal with, even arranging a viewing before we booked. Soho is our favourite area of London, with countless bars and every type of restaurant you could want, all with a few minutes walk from Piccadilly, Oxford/ Regent St, Covent Garden, Chinatown etc.

We will definitely be booking this property again sometime.

Fantastic location, well appointed and great hosts

This was my four trip to London, so I have a pretty good feel for the location compared with my previous stays. I can definitely say that Brittania House is situated in one of the best locations in London. Close to Oxford St and the West End right in the middle of the action. Our flight arrived late, but we were met at the accomodation by Mathew as promised, who gave us a tour of the house before leaving us to our own devices. Mathew was friendly and helpful, as was Samuel in all email correspondence. The interior of the apartment was better than expected and easily housed six adults across three bedrooms. This was our first experience with HomeAway and we are so happy to have booked Brittania House. I will definitely be booking this accomodation again in the future when travelling with a group to London!

Great Location, clean Luxury

We took the house for the weekend, we were worry because we read some reviews saying that it is noisy during weekends, but actually it was great, we had a great time, and we could sleep well.

The pictures shows that the furniture and design are great, when we arrived we found that it is great and the pictures were describing it very well.

When you go out for walking you will find that every thing you need is near to you.

I will give the house 5 stars.

Cool apartment in great location

Pictures and descriptions were all accurate and well-reflect the property. It was clean and suited our needs perfectly. It was a really big hit with my 3 20-something kids especially!! Some cautions - LOTS of stairs, so consider very carefully if you have mobility issues. Also, bring your own TP and soap as none is/was provided! (A first for us with Homeaway rentals - maybe a UK thing?)

just lovely

Due to some last minute headaches with finding an apartment I ended up booking this place by chance but I'm so glad that I did as it couldn't have been a better choice. After being messed around with other landlord / owners I was left without an apartment literally 24 hours before our stay so I emailed Samuel who wasted no time in responding and sorted everything for me, even responding to emails at 11pm the evening before to makes sure everything was organised. I then met his brother Matthew the next afternoon who handed over the keys and gave me a quick guided tour before leaving me to enjoy my weekend, all very professional, helpful and friendly.

The house itself is a charm right in the middle of Soho which worked out perfect for us as we had a show booked in the West end which is no more than a 5 minute walk away. There's the breakfast club right next door but out of all the breakfast clubs in London this one has the worst queues so get up early! if you can't be bothered to wait like us then there is no shortage of great places in the area to eat.

I've read a couple of other reviews regarding the noise and yes it is lively but know that this is Soho so probably not ideal if you're looking for serenity but the house does a perfectly good job of shielding you from the buzz right outside the front door.

I would and will definitely stay here again!
