A two room apartment with one double bedroom and a large living room with sofa bed.

One bathroom with shower and wc and a separate wc. A modern kitchen, Wi-Fi, flat screen Tv, Blue-Ray Dvd player and garage.

The apartment has a 53sqm panoramic terrace that gives spectacular views of the Riviera from Roquebrune Cap Martin all the way to the Italian coast and the mountains behind Menton. At night sitting on the terrace the view is of lights all along the coast to Bordighera, moon reflected on the sea and the illuminated Cathedral - it is truly magical.

Amenities in Carnoles include Menton Carnoles railway station (5 minute walk), supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, bread shops (5), an open food market, internet cafe and the beach is just a 4 minute walk away.

Menton is described as the pearl of the French Riviera. It has a sub-tropical microclimate making winters temperate and summers hot, the sea, however, is only a few paces away!

It has a rich history, attractions include the Lemon Festival in February, music festivals during the summer, gardens, galleries and art museums including the much anticipated new Jean Cocteau Museum.

Menton is on the border with Italy; Monaco is a few kilometers away and the shopping in Nice only 30km away.

Sporting activities include, swimming, cycling, walking, wind surfing, paragliding and sailing.

There is a Casino, restaurants, bars, two ports, an amusement park, markets and lots of beaches-something for everyone.

Notes

  • To secure your booking we ask for a deposit of 25% of total rental. The outstanding balance is then payable 4 weeks before the date of your arrival. For clients booking at shorter notice full payment is required.

    A security deposit of €350 needs to be paid via bank transfer a few days before arrival -this is held in case of damages- and will be refunded a few days after departure all being well.

    On departure there is a cleaning supplement of €35 unless you wish to perform the cleaning yourselves.

    Rental is primarily from Saturday to Saturday -extra nights as per the rates above.

We have just spent 2 weeks in this apartment and had a wonderful time. The view from the terrace is totally stunning!(and itself terrace) The apartment is very nice and well-equipped. Great Apartment with a wonderful terrace

We have just spent 2 weeks in this apartment and had a wonderful time. The accommodation lived up to the details. The bedding and towels were plentiful and the apartment was well stocked with everything you would need for self catering. The terrace was a wonderful relaxing place to sit and look over the coastline. The apartment was well placed for using public transport into Monaco/Nice or Italy. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

Addicted !!

I am becoming addicted to Menton and this lovely apartment. It’s the third time we have stayed here and absolutely love it. The wrap around terrace is huge and views over the bay and mountains are amazing. It is so peaceful and restful; we relax as soon as we arrive. I love the fact that I can walk just a few minutes to the Boulanger and buy fresh croissants every morning. Mind you, getting out of bed is hard as it is so comfortable. It is huge and one of those Temper type of memory foam beds so amazing. We want to get one of them for our own bed at home now that we have experienced how great they are.

Finding some beers or wine in the fridge is always wonderful welcome too. The lady who handles the handover is a sweetheart and very helpful.

My daughter loves the small merry go round / carousel in Menton and we regularly walk the 15 minutes along the beach into town so she can ride on it. The underground garage is very handy too and with a beach, playground and supermarket just a couple of minutes’ walk from the front door, it’s a perfect location for us.

Overall I highly recommend this apartment.

A Great Appartment in Mentone

We highly recommend this apartment for your staying in Mentone.
Rely fresh, and all modern facility, top floor with a fantastic terrace give you a perfect view over Mentone, and a part of Mediterranean, also a perfect place to spend late evenings.
I must say we absolutely will try to come back.

Nice Unit, Gorgeous Deck and View, No WiFi

This unit was very nice. The renovation was beautiful. We enjoyed the outside spaces and the views were great. The building is dated but once you are in the unit, it is fine. The property is not in Menton but in Roquebrune-Cap Martin, though close enough to Menton to walk there. The parking was great, though get a small car as it is a typical French parking space designed for smaller cars. The caretakers who checked us in were wonderful. Helpful, on time and very kind and friendly. Our biggest problem was the lack of Wi Fi. We own our business and needed to communicate so we had to drive to McDonald's (about a mile away) so this was a hassle. For the price of WiFi which is very inexpensive, I don't know why the owner does not have it. There is no air conditioning though most nights it was cool enough. Overall a pleasant experience and Menton is an amazing city.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Romantic Getaway

May we correct you on the location though, the apartment is in Menton, on the Carnolés side and near to, but not on, Roquebrune-Cap Martin.
The apartment has Wifi, I am sorry it was not fully set up for your visit but we had advised you that it was not in place before you booked. Sometimes it just takes a while to get these things organized but then life works at a different pace in France to your home area of Florida.
