The holiday let is available for hire until 30 April 2015. After this date the property is being sold.

About Andrew Grant

Bwthyn Y Plas is owned by my brother and I. The Barn was originally converted by our father. I work as a production engineer and live with my family in the next village. The property was upgraded/renovated by us.

My partner and I who is the housekeeper/keyholder run the holiday lettings.

In August 2012 we advertised the Barn with cottages4you and have had successful holiday lettings and good feedback. From 8 January 2014 we have decided to go independent.

Why Andrew Grant chose Holywell

The Barn was originally converted by our father. The property has been upgraded/renovated by us and my partner who is the housekeeper.

The Barn is in a picturesque village location of Llanasa it is 3 miles from the local beach at Talacre, and seaside resort of Prestatyn. The main A55 trunk road is 3 miles away.

What makes this barn unique

A large three bedroomed property with a sizeable conservatory which looks out on to an enclosed good sized garden with patio area. The front of the property has space for 3 cars. The property has two lounges with tv`s and dvd. The main lounge offers a woodburning stove and fire guard. There is a local pub that serves food 300 yards.

Fabulous Barn

We stayed here with friends for the weekend and were very pleased with our choice. The barn was a fantastic size, very clean and well equipped and ideally located for the beach, shops and nearby towns. We decided to go away quite last minute and only wanted a 2 night stay. The rate reflected this unlike some quotes I received where owners were still charging for 3 nights. Payment and collection of keys was hassle free. It really was a beautiful barn in a very pretty village which we hope to return to again in the Summer to enjoy the garden and conservatory too.

A superb place to stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Whilst the weather in the rest of Britain was awful, it was kind to us here and we were able to enjoy two full days of walking and sightseeing, visiting local beauty spots with ease. Anywhere along the North Wales coast would have been easy to reach with easy access to coastal and inland roads, whilst located in the heart of a beautiful village - less than an hour to many famous sights in Wales and England. Our trips were made more enjoyable in the knowledge that we were returning to a warm, welcoming home that exceeded our expectations. Spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean and equipped with all anyone could need and all at an amazing price. Our dog loved the visit too - even bowls and his own mat were provided - yet no-one would know dogs had stayed at the house before! The house phone worked well and cheaply and the included Wifi was excellent too. We are sure family and friends will wish to visit when we share our memories and photos. We can recommend the home to all visitors and there is ample room for 7 and two dogs. Our first visit will not be our last. Congratulations to the owners who we are sure are justly proud of their excellent, and in our view, 5 star property.
