The Villa has very spacious rooms, modern decoration and with a fantastic outside pool. The L-shaped kitchen is complemented with a stone built wall bar. The kitchen captures the view of Nevis Peak and on a clear day a white cloud sits on the top of the mountain. Juliet, the property manager was very warm and welcoming and readily available to answer questions during our stay and made provisions for a rent-a-car through their affiliated company, 1st Choice Rentals Ltd at a 50% discounted cost! Not only was the cost affordable but they delivered the car FREE of any additional charges, they are indeed the best on the island. Gwen, the house cleaner was also very helpful and kind, indeed the entire island is filled with friendly persons waiting to readily assist and greet you with the most welcoming smile.
The Villa is clearly a home rather than just a holiday and has very nice touches. Cable TV, DVDs, Games for adults and children, reading materials. The linen is nicely laundered and is of good quality. The lounge leads on to an L-shaped veranda that over-looks the Caribbean Sea and the island of St Kitts. We relaxed there during the day enjoying the view of ferries commuting between the two islands or yachts anchoring with visitors to the island. At nights if we decided to dine at home, we enjoyed a candle lit dinner on the veranda or just simply relax in the comfort of the hammock and view the night sky.
The location can be best described as perfect, surrounded by grocery shops, restaurants and the town area. A short walk leads to the famous Oualie Beach Hotel filled with sporting activities, Ellis, the scuba diving instructor was fabulous! The restaurant cook prepared for us their local catch of the day - the snapper fish. The Golden Rock Hotel is one of the places for lunch, the lobster was delicious, garden nicely landscaped. The historic stone work remains a part of the structure and imagine, the wedding suite is placed inside a sugar mill. We visited Montpelier Plantation where Princess Diana stayed when she visited Nevis. Montpelier has a rich history and is located at top of a hill and overlooks the entire west side of the island and the west coast. Pinneys Beach located next to the Four Seasons Hotel and had lunch at Sunshine’s Bar.
Please only have one of his secret ‘Killer Bees’
We spent 2 idyllic and very relaxing weeks at Crimson Villa. There is so much to do on an island that is only 36 sq miles.....We’d certainly love to return ne
Owner's Response: Tourist Attractions:
There is a famous local saying in Nevis,(Nevis Nice) its relaxed all the way and has a temperate climate all year round of 85 with cool breeze and exotic flowers.
Nevis has many places of interest, from plantation Inns, rainforest, to Nevis peak 3,200 ft above sea level. Montpelier Inn, where Princess Diana stayed when she visited Nevis and Admiral Nelson married Fanny Nisbet. History students will not be suprised to learn that Alexander Hamilton, the secretary of states to the US treasury was born in Nevis in 1789!
Nevis is also famous as the Queen of the Caribbean and it is not hard to see why with so many attractions, such as: Indian Castle, Spring House, Bath Hotel, Alexander Hamilton House and Spring House. There are two Golf courses in Nevis, 18- hole Robert Trent Jones where you can have golf instructions.
I am very please that our guest had a positive experience whilst staying at our villa because we pride ourselves in making your stay enjoyable, relaxing and stress free.
