Sleeps six, large lounge, three bathrooms, fully fitted kitchen, garden and pool

This hillside apartment is in a beautiful quiet location set in half an acre of gardens with a swimming pool, with surrounding area for sunbathing and an outside shower. For shady relaxation there is a large terrace with dining area and plenty of sunbeds to while the day away.

Inside the apartment the two double bedrooms have plenty of storage for clothes and belongings with one having an en suite and the other having another shower room next door.

The extra sleeping accommodation is via a very comfortable fully sprung bed settee in the lounge which has a large bathroom next door.

The kitchen is fully fitted with fridge, oven and grill, microwave and plenty of equipment should you be eating in. Outside on the terrace there is a gas BBQ for your use.

There is also a covered terrace with dining area at the front of the apartment that has a large fridge freezer for storage of food and drinks. The whole area is fully lit by night and very attractive and comfortable.

The Villa and surrounding area: This lovely villa is set in a quiet and private location and is surrounded by lovely countryside. The area forms part of the National Park and there are plenty of opportunities for walking both on the flat and in the surrounding hills.

The village has an abundance of facilities providing many good quality restaurants for every budget together with seafront cafes and tapas bars..

There are many fiestas throughout the year, the main one being in early September when there is plenty of entertainment in the village for all ages culminating in a huge seafront firework display.

The Beaches: All the local beaches are sandy and have blue flags. There are numerous water sports should you be interested such as paddle boating, surfing, fishing, etc.

There is always plenty of space on the beach to sunbathe and sunbeds and umbrellas are available for hire at a reasonable daily or weekly rate.

Coffees and lunches are readily available in the many cafes and restaurants on the seafront.

Interesting sites and trips: The old town of Peniscola is worth a visit as it has a beautiful old castle set on a hill with cobbled streets leading to the top lined with shops and restaurants where you can eat and enjoy the panoramic views.

For an interesting day out the caves at Val Duixo is a must being only 45 minutes drive away where you can be taken b y boat through the underground river serenaded by music. Lunch can be taken at the local restaurants next to the caves.

Tarragona is another old town worth visiting which is full of history and has a wonderful cathedral and a large square full of restaurants.

For children a good day out would be to visit the Theme park which is called Porta Ventura which is close to Tarragona and provides many rides and entertainment.

About Sally and Richard Fairey

We have had this property for six happy years and have lived in Spain for ten. It is a most beautiful part of the country with the benefit of great weather and views of both the rolling hills and the coast. You can choose to have a peaceful and relaxing time or visit one of the many lovely sandy bays followed by an evening of fine dining or entertainment. We wouldn't be anywhere else!!

What makes this apartment unique

This property benefits from the best of both worlds with the hills behind you and the sea in front. As it is set in a no through road there is little traffic apart from the residents. The garden in private and spacious and benefits from the beautiful swimming pool and well matured trees and plants. There is a stunning variety of birds to be seen and heard. On the terrace is a large leafy Mulberry tree where you can while away the hours reading entertaining or relaxing in the shade or if you are a sun lover the lower terrace has plenty of that to offer!

This property was everything we could have wished for. Very spacious, well equipped, quiet, barbecue area and pool. There was nothing more we needed. The owners were particularly helpful and very friendly. We would definitely come back here again.

Unique location in Spanish coastal resort

My husband and I are retired and have been visiting Alcossebre for 10 years. For the last 5 years we have stayed in this apartment as we love the location and the facilities. The villa has it's own self-contained apartment downstairs and the owners live on site upstairs, so should any problems occur, they are speedily dealt with. It is very peaceful but the town/beach/supermarket are only a few minutes drive away. There are many interesting places to visit within an hour of driving, details of which the owners will be delighted to inform you about, as they will about good restaurants nearby. The pool area is superb. We can't wait to go again!

This area is on the Orange Blossom Coast the Costa Del Azahar and if renowned for its beauty and stunning views of both hills and coastline. It is famous for its clean air and environment and is said to one of the healthiest place to be. We are lucky enough to enjoy a mild climate in the winter with most days benefiting from blue skies and plenty of sunshine and frequently enjoy beautiful sunsets.

The local people are extremely friendly and welcoming and even if you don't speak the language it is always possible to get by.

All the local beaches have blue flags and are sandy and there are many small bays for more private sunbathing and swimming.

Shopping is no problem in Alcossebre village as we have an abundance of small shops of every variety plus a large Supermarket for all your needs.

The restaurants provide the discerning diner with all types of quality food covering a range of budgets.

Golf: There are two local golf course within a 30 minutes drive called Panoramica and Meditteraneo. All equipment can be hired if required.
