This property has a lift, but please note that there is a small flight of stairs at entrance level and again when you exit the lift on the 6th floor.

This property underwent a complete refit and makeover in June 2011.

6th (top) floor penthouse apartment in this quiet port-side road - sleeps 6 (if using the sofabed for 2 people);

2 balconies with panoramic south and west facing views over the port of Nice and the sea;

Brand new bathrooms, bedrooms, NEFF kitchen appliances, furniture and decor;

New 'silent type' reversible air conditioning; double glazing and wooden flooring;

5 minutes walk to the old town, 10 minutes walk to the beach, and 20 minutes drive to Nice airport;

2 double / twin bedrooms, one of them en-suite, a further sofa-bed in the lounge;

The air conditioning in the bedrooms was fabulous. Having stayed in the area 3 times before we know what it is like trying to sleep without any a.c. The fabric and furnishing in the flat was excellent, everything that could be required was there. The balcony was the perfect place to chill out after a day in the hot sun, offering a fantastic vista of the ever changing port.We enjoyed the stay in your apartment very much !

Perfect once again

Deciding to return to somewhere you liked always has a risk - in the intervening time you build up an image in your mind that reality can't quite deliver. Not in this case. We found our second visit even better than the first. Nice is a wonderful city and this spectacularly located penthouse has everything you need for a sublime stay. The owner Chris takes real care in creating a clean, well-equipped and great place to be, ably supported by his lovely local agent Sandra who is kind and obliging. Of course, telling the world about this gem will only make it harder to book next time around, but it deserves all the business it can handle.

Superbe!

Really nice apartment. We instantly felt like we were on holiday as it's such a great view of the sea, port and mountains in the distance. The lovely sunny west facing balcony was nice to sit out on even at this time of year. Last but not least we found great restaurants within 5 minutes walk.

“To wake up to an azure sky and be greeted by the sight of £50m of superyachts below your balcony is a wonderful way to start the day. We spent a fabulous week in this apartment and started recommending it to friends as soon as we got back. It is exactly as advertised: finished to a high standard, with good taste, and equipped with everything you need. The location is just perfect, and quite apart from the inspiring vista you’re also just minutes from the wonderful old town and the beach. You absolutely don’t need a car if you’re staying in Nice, or want to go up and down the coast (the train is excellent). The airport bus decants you just a couple of streets away. A word also about the owner Chris, who sends you forensically detailed and useful information to help you get the best from your stay, and – the first time I’ve ever experienced this in 20 years – a questionnaire afterwards to see if you were happy. Very impressive all round.”

Amazing location right on the port

This apartment was better than we had imagined even though the photos were good. What an amazing location.
There were more than enough bars and restaurants right on our doorstep, yet you couldn't hear them from the apartment balcony 6 floors above.
The air conditioning was a luxury as it was virtually silent.

Lovely apartment with wonderful views!

The apartment is lovely, light and airy, pristine condition, wonderful views and well stocked with everything you need. Location is perfect, you get the best of both worlds with the bustling old town and trendy Promenande des Anglais just round the corner.

Transport links are great, we jumped on the bus to Monaco and the airport right outside our doorstep. The owner sent us all 'essential info', which made the stay so easy and the restaurant recommendations were useful too!

Ill be renting this one again.

Fabulous 5 star stay

We have stayed in various hotels in Nice over the years however decided to try an apartment and we were delighted with the choice. The property has been upgraded to the highest standard with one of the finest views in town, this apartment is all and more than is advertised. The facilities are modern and the balcony is spectacular from where you can watch the Port yachts coming and going all day. The walk to the main beaches on the Promenade Des Anglais will take only 20-30 mins a similar length of walk to the Old Town. The bus stop is 2 mins away ...... I can think of no negatives though you will be glad of the lift after a long hot day.

Nice / Port of Nice

Nice is a wonderful city with everything you could hope for - spectacular scenery, museums and galleries, history, great architecture, food, beaches and glamour.

Nice port is a 5 minute walk into the bustling Old Town. It is a maze of little shops and restaurants all leading down to the waterfront where you can eat out and admire the yachts and luxury cruisers.

Major works took place in 2010-11 which have created a double width pavement enabling alfresco dining along the whole length of the road.

A new tramline, due to open in 2014 will end at the port and run all the way from the port to the airport.
