Sundowner house, beach front, one of the best views on the island. Sleeps 6.

Sundowner House sits with an unparalleled view of the beautiful light blue sea. You can watch fish swim past from the patio– ideally done at “sundowner” time! The house sits 35 ft. above the sea and 25 yd from it, with beach frontage and safe swimming. Hoopers Bay is one of the most beautiful on the island, and extremely quiet. The house has three bedrooms, 1 with a king bed, one with a queen, and the other with twin beds which can be moved together to make another king. There is a mooring in front of the house, marked by a polystyrene buoy. This was installed in August 2022, and is a helix anchor point. All living rooms have fans, air conditioning and a full unobstructed sea view. In response to comments made by one tenant, we took on board what was said, and decided to give Sundowner a facelift, and the following renovations were carried out . The kitchen units, sink and bar were all replaced, and a new refrigerator/freezer bought. For the dining area, a new dining table with 6 chairs provided. All cracked ceramic floor tiles in the house were replaced. The master bedroom has a newly tiled floor, a brand new king size bed in 2018, whilst it's shower room has been completely renovated. It now has a walk in shower. Not to end there, the number 2 bedroom has a new electric cooker and a new love seat. The patio has 4 new sunbeds.

Please note, the HOUSE IS ON THE BEACH. I am frustratingly unable to get removed the note that it is a "7 minute drive to the beach".

Two paths lead from the house, which join up then take you to some steps onto the beautiful beach.
Exuma is one to the best bone fishing areas in the world, and it has some of the clearest and cleanest seas to swim, snorkel or dive in. Facilities are available in George Town to do all these things, and also hiring boats. Brochures have been placed in the house to help you in this matter.
The house has WIFI.
There is split A/C in all bedrooms, kitchen and lounge/diner area.
2 outdoor showers.

One good suggestion from a renter is to bring with you a few paper products that are light and easy to carry, such as trash bags, detergent pods, tin foil, baggies etc as they are very expensive to buy on the island.

Perfect location! Comfortable home!

Sundowner is a 2 bed/2 bath with an attached condo with another bed/bath and kitchen (3 bed/3bath/2kitchen total). They can be separate or open by an interior door. We stayed for a month. Ideal location. It sits on a beautiful bay on one of the nicest beaches on the island. We kept our boat in front on the mooring ball with no trouble. The house is very well cared for by the owners. It is not overly fancy, it's clean and comfortable. All rooms have an ocean view and open onto a deck that looks onto the bay. A car or boat is nice to have while here- but a grocery store is a 10 min walk (half a mile) down the road as well as a hardware store. The house is elevated above the beach which makes for great views but a declined paved walk to the beach. The house is well stocked with things you may need (tools, pots, pans, air mattress...) There is also an outside shower that is a must have after the beach. Overall we are more than pleased with the house. We have seen others on the island we saw online prior to coming and have been very glad we picked sundowner!

Fantastic Location and wonderful host

Sundowner House was perfect for our family - lots of room, very clean and a fantastic location right on a beautiful beach. Having breakfast on the patio with a gorgeous view was the perfect start to the day. the location on Hooper's Bay is great - kind of int he middle of the island convenient if you want to go north or south. Close to the grocery store and George Town. Jenny the property manager and the owner were great at answering all my questions about where to go and how to get there. I highly recommend this house for a family or group of friends. it is a fantastic value. Would definitely go back.

Fantastic View

The view was amazing. The house was perfect for us. The one thing i would suggest is that the walk way from the house to the beach have a railing. One of our guest could not go down, it was to steep with nothing to hold on to. We had a fantastic time and Geoffry gave us many suggestions of where to go and what to see.

Hoopers Bay

House is on the beach and in a great location. Super close to the airport and grocery stores. The house is on a beautiful and very quiet beach. The house is stocked with snorkeling equipment, rafts, beach towels and lots of other items that are difficult to pack. We had a great time!

British, and first bought land on Exuma in 1964. Retired over 25 years, formerly an RAF pilot and airline Captain. My first house on Exuma I had built on Tar Bay.

Bought the land and built the house in 1990, due to its stunning location. The width of the plot allowed me to have 3 bedrooms all with a sea view.
