Ideally located for unwinding and relaxing where you can enjoy the sea, cycling, hiking, tennis and the privacy of the garden its pool and a barbecue for those hot summer evenings.

I have rented this villa this summer for my parents and sister's familly for 10 days, I already own a place in Cala Pi, and wanted a villa large enough to accomodate everyone so I can show them the beauty of the area and the surroundings.

I have booked this Villa earlier this year online, and I was a little bit apprehensive as I had no other choices, seeing that the remaining villas available were all over my budget.

The renting process was very straight forward, no hidden charges, prompt response from the owner everytime I emailed him, which made me feel at ease.

Where to start?, the villa is very spacious, 4 double bedrooms upstairs, 2 bathrooms upstairs, and a WC downstairs, a garage, utility room, nice size and super clean pool, plenty of storage space everywhere, well equipped kitchen.. etc..

The extras we havent expected were all there, plenty of good quality towels, beach towels, pool towels, hair dryer, iron, moskitos plugs, kitchen condiments, DVDs, cleaning products etc etc, and the villa was spottless.

The area of Cala Pi is very picturesque, you can drive to the closest beach being Cala Pi Playa " about 5 min drive" , or you can walk, about 20min walk.

All restaurants and bars are located in Cala Pi near the beach, and the walk is very pleasent and the views are spectacular at any time of the day.

Other close by beaches / main points of interest, are:
Es Trenc beach " about 20 min drive"
Colonia Saint Jordie beach " about 25 min drive"
Airport: 30min
Palma centre: 35-40min

Be aware that if you choose this part of the island, is because you want to be away from the noisy tourist spots, people from palma would travel all the way to get such peace and beauty, and they would travel over an hour to reach the beaches of es Trenc etc when really its on your door steps.

For kids: there are a few activities organised at the Hotel Cala Pi club, daily, and at the week end, 5 min walk from the villa, the area organises a free party for everyone at the local sports field, that week they had a big disco with a foam party, and the little ones, and in fact the adults were all there!!

Down Side:
I honestly can not fault the villa, nor the area, just be aware that a car is an abslute must especially as there is no major supermarket in Cala Pi, and the nearest one would be LLucmajor.

Would I recommand this villa? absolutely yes.

Lovely remote house

This is a lovely house - exceptionally clean, with everything you would need during your stay. Alfredo is very helpful and made sure we had an enjoyable stay. The pool was clean and the grass area was great for the children to run around on (with good levels of shade).

The walk to Cala Pi was not very picturesque (along roads) and with 4 children (2 of which were 3) it was just too far to walk in and out. This wasn't too much of a problem as we had hired cars (which were an absolute necessity) but it was a shame as we would have liked a nice walk in the morning or evenings.

Villa would benefit from air conditioning in the bedrooms

Great house for family holiday

I could warmly recommend this rental to families with or without children, couples or anyone else who would like to stay a bit off the track. (Car is necessary.) The house was spottless clean, as the owner promised, when we arrived, and everything is new and in function. The house has everything you need, and the terrace and garden are great for lazy afternoons.

The lockable fence around the property makes the house great for families with children, because then you know that your children would not be running out in the street when your not watching them.

I would happily recommend this house.
