Situated on the 3rd (top) floor in the Apart-Hotel complex Playa Marina 1 Is a fully fitted, spacious Private Air-conditioned, Penthouse apartment in the centre of the “Strip” in Cabo Roig with 3 BEDROOMS, 2 BATHROOMS. The Balcony overlooks the 25 metre swimming pool, with children’s shallow end and a Jacuzzi end,open to residents only. Upstairs is our solarium also overlooking the pool with 2 tables,8 chairs 6 sunbeds. A receptionist is on duty at the reception desk during the day and a caretaker during the darkness hours. There are 3 Internet stations as well as WiFi. A Bar serving alcohol and soft drinks. Pool table.The strip offers a variety of bars,cafes,restaurants and entertainment. Blue Flag beaches are just a 15 minutes walk,with wonderful sandy beaches.2 main beaches Cala Capitan and Cala Caleta and are clean and safe for children. No additional charges for Cleaning, no Key deposit no charge for meet and greet and in Euros not pounds, do your sums, see what the final price amounts to! The price you see is what you pay. If you are hiring a car, garage space is available free of charge

The 'Strip' as it is known internationally, boasts a lot of bars and restaurants and attracts the holidaymaker which like the night life it offers. The variety and quality of the restaurants and bars are very high. There are supermarkets selling English and European products.at reasonable cost.

Weather in Cabo Roig:

On your holiday in Cabo Roig, you will enjoy magnificent weather. With a yearly average temperature of 20°C, and over 300 days of sunshine every year. Experienced sunbathers flock to the beaches of Cabo Roig during July and August when the temperatures can soar to over 40°C, whilst those who like it slightly cooler, enjoy the months of May, June September and October.Even the Month of November is quite warm. Winter does not ruin the fabulous resort.of Cabo Roig. Although a little quieter during the winter month or two,.it is still filled with walkers, golfers.and sports tourists, as temperatures rarely drop below 15°C during the daytime, at night it does get colder.

Medical Centre:: A 100 metres walk from the Playamarina1 Apart-Hotel is a newly built 24 hour medical centre.

There is an hourly bus service to Torrevieja, just outside the apartment building.

Great central holiday apartment

I stayed at this apartment for a week - It was fab! The apartment had eveything you could want for a family of 5 (kids 16/13/10), plenty of space and excellent TV channels to keep them quiet when in doors. The rooftop solarium had great views, loads of seating and you got the sun (30-34 degrees each day) from sunrise to sunset - brilliant for enjoying an early evening drink. We would set up candles and play cards with the kids til 2am most nights on the rooftop. Location is right on the doorstep to all pubs and restaurants on the strip but as you overlook the pool/face the sea, you do not hear any noise. 5 minutes down an avenue to rocky beach and 10 min walk to Cabo Roig and Campoamar beautiful beaches. Dave did the pickup/drop off to the airport 20 mins away - that was ideal. No need for a car, everything to hand. Buses and Taxi rank 2 min away. Supermarket 100 mtrs away. Overall great holiday in a great apartment in a great location. We didn't want to come home. Would recommend this apartment to couples and families.

Just returned home from a wonderful fortnight in Cabo Roig, staying at Dave & Maria''s lovely apartment. The apartment is bright and spacious and spotlessly clean. The apartment also benefits from a great view of the pool but if you prefer to do your sunbathing in private, tthere's also has an amazing roof terrace where our family spent most of their time topping up their tans! The apartment has everything you need to make your holiday complete and the PLaya Marina complex itself is ideally situated on the main Cabo Roig strip with excellent choice of shops, bars restaurants etc all within easy reach. The beach is also just a 5\10 minute walk away. The friendly helpful reception staff are always on hand to offer advice or help or taxi service if required. Thanks to Dave & Maria for use of their excellent apartment and hope to return again soon!

Three friends and I stayed in this apartment, and found it ideal, very clean, very central to all the resort has to offer.The owners could not have been more helpful allowing us to stay longer then normal check out time as our flight was late in the evening. Halloween Break

Arrived with my mother and teenage daughter on 27th October for a relaxing Halloween break. Dave met us on arrival and showed us around the apartment and had even left a small welcome pack in fridge! Apartment was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. There's an amazing rooftop sun terrace which would be a great space during the summer months but unfortunately was no use to us at Halloween. Apartment is also very convenient for shops/restaurants/weekly market and new Consum supermarket just on the other side of The Strip. Bus stops/taxi ranks also very handy. Only complaint is that bed in large bedroom is very hard and uncomfortable and could do with replacing!

It's amazing how everybody is so different in their preference of a soft mattress to a firm one we have had many comments made but mainly in approval of the firmer mattress, so sorry it wasn't to your liking.

The penthouse apartment is located on the 'Strip' which is alive and buzzing during the holiday season. There are many bars and restaurants, each offering their own speciality and entertainment. For the more energetic , there are long walks available along the sea front, the beaches are Blue Flag designated. Hot air balloon rides, scuba diving and other outdoor pursuits are available in the area. The bus service will take you to Torrevieja where the Aquopolis water park, with its' water slides. A bus service also goes to Alicante with its' castles and parks. Also at a driving distance of 20-30 minutes from the city; one can find several parks that provide some fantastic entertainment options for a family day out. Terra Mitica, for fantastic hair raising rides,Terra Natura Park:

This park is home for 1,500 animals of around two hundred different species, located next to Aqualandia water park. Mundomar,:an excellent park offers unique experience to watch dolphins and other sea life.

Other Activities: There are lots' of scenic walkways along the coast.

Golf: The Costa Blanca presents itself like a veritable golfer's dream within reach of domestic and foreign tourists alike. The Costa Blanca golf courses benefit from exceptional climate and weather conditions that have to be added to the quality and design of its facilities.The typical Mediterranean climate ensures the best conditions to play golf all year round. Getting to and around the Costa Blanca is the easiest, due to its privileged location and its excellent road links. Renting our apartment is conveniently located. All the golf courses are located in areas of unquestionable natural beauty. The beauty of the landscape, the blinding allure of its heavenly beaches, the cultural riches of its towns...are some of the reasons that make the Costa Blanca the ideal locations for relaxation and entertainment. It is a golfers' paradise - There are 13 courses south of Alicante and 10 more north of Alicante. Play different course every day, there are 8 courses within 30 minutes La Finca, Villamartin (tel:+34966765127}, Las Ramblas (tel:+34 965322011) Are administered by the same company but are differently challenging and one fax can make bookings for all three. Campoamor (tel:+34 965320506) - Is different again. If you want to play 36 holes in a day- this is next door to Las Ramblas. So play one course, lunch and play another with minimal travel time. In the autumn, winter and spring it is best to book. Handicap certificates are normally required.. Enquire at the desk for more information.

Notes:
Air Conditioning is in the lounge area and also the master bedroom. There is also a ceiling fan in the lounge area and also in the three bedrooms. We supply fresh clean bed linen and towels on a weekly basis, however we don't supply beach towels, please bring your own. The Nearest airport to Cabo Roig is San Javier in Murcia.it is about 30 minutes drive away from Cabo Roig. Alicante airport is a 45-60 minute, 65 km drive away, so the taxi fare is considerably more and virtually double if it is an early morning or late flight.. Most clients opt to use Murcia airport. If you are hiring a car when you are in Cabo Roig there is a car parking space belonging to the apartment in the building with a lift (elevator) directly up to the apartment. It is possible for on street parking also.
