This spacious and tastefully furnished apartment is on the first floor, to the rear of a peaceful, sea front complex. The complex is gated and has its own security which is a common feature in India. There is a large communal pool with a separate children's pool and gardens for sunbathing. There are several 5 star hotels close by and there is a wide choice of restaurants, bars and entertainment within a short distance. The lush greenery provided by the surrounding paddy fields also attracts wonderful birds to the area specially the lovely blue kingfishers. The beach is unspoilt but offer all the amenities and plenty of water sports to make your beach holiday enjoyable.
A spacious apartment in a quiet area on the complex. It is in a perfect location if you like the beach. The nearby village had lots of restaurants and 2 supermarkets.Unfortunately the apartment has been poorly maintained, neglected and not cleaned effectively. The shower unit was in poor condition ,rusting frames and dirty ledges. The toilet continually ran.We found the microwave and gas hob dirty, the toaster rusty as were the shelves in the fridge.A washing machine is provided and was in good working order.Drawers and cupboards were dusty and dirty. Lounge curtains were dirty and water stained. The kitchen blind was broken and very greasy and dirty and the windows and window grills were very dusty and dirty. The ceiling light was hanging on with the wires and a very loose socket in the bedroom.Towels were provided but of poor quality and small sized.A thick layer of dust sat on all air con units and on the light shades. The whole apartment had not been cleaned thoroughly for our arrival although the floors had been cleaned. The owner was very helpful and always responded quickly to our requests after we made the booking and has said she will rectify these issues in the future. At the moment I would not recommend this apartment to my family or friends. However if the issues above are addressed it would a perfect place to stay.
