Very spacious and high quality 2 double bedroom/2 bathroom apartment, recently refurbished, located on the entire bottom floor of a large villa with a stunning 1800 square meter garden (ideal playing space for children). This property is unique as you have the luxury of renting a villa type property at apartment prices! The property also includes a private garage and a brand new swimming pool. The apartment, garden, balcony, pool and garage are completely private for your use as there will be no other tenants when you are in Villa Juana.

Fantastic sea and mountain views. One of the most rural areas of the Costa del Sol. The villa is located in an exclusive urbanisation with excellent/easy access from the main coast road and is literally a stone's throw from the beach. The property is fully enclosed and safe for children. Very quiet and peaceful area but still only a 5 minute drive or easy bus ride to urban centers such as benalmadena costa or fuengirola.

Is renting a car necessary?: Although a car is recommended for site seeing, it is not required. All the essentials are within a maximum of 15 minutes walk from the villa.

Train station: 15 minutes (Malaga to Fuengirola);

Bus stop: 5 minutes (Malaga to Marbella);

Beach: 5 minutes;

Supermarket (open 7 days a week): 10 minutes;

Restaurants/bars: 10 minutes;

Tennis courts: 15 minutes;

More information on the local area: The villa is situated in one of the most beautiful, quiet and less urbanized areas of the Costa del Sol. The main street outside the house is a windy and scenic 2km route up to the idyllic Benalmadena Pueblo (local village). If you enjoy walking/hiking, it is a very enjoyable 25-30min walk up to the village. Once in the village, you have panoramic views of the whole area and there are plenty of options for eating, drinking and you can find all the services of a normal town (ie. supermarket, banks, post office).

If you walk in the other direction (south), you will find yourself on the beach within 5 minutes. Once on the coast road, you can enjoy a walk either west or east in which you have beach after beach to choose from .

What to do?: When staying at Villa Juana, you can spend your whole time relaxing around your private terrace/balcony/pool and garden. For the more adventurous, there is plenty to see both culturally and nature wise in and around the province of Malaga.

If you rent a car, within a one hour drive you can enjoy scenic drives that lead you to beautiful Andalusian mountain village such as Mijas and Ronda. For those who thoroughly enjoy unspoiled/protected beaches, within a 45 minute drive East of Villa Juana are the wonderful beaches of Nerja.

For those who are into sporting activities, it is very easy to go hiking around the area as it is surrounding by local mountain and hiking paths. In addition, the neighbouring urbanisation (Torremuelle) has several tennis courts (only 7 Euro an hour and surrounded by lovely scenery).

Culturally, an easy/cheap train ride to Malaga centre has a lot to offer: from Moorish ruins, a Roman amphitheatre, a wonderful cathedral, the museum of Picasso.

A great holiday!

We a family of four (a toddler and baby) stayed for 6 weeks at this well equipped, spacious and very comfortable ground floor apartment. The access to the garden was excellent for the kids and the sea view was just spectacular with a terrace and balcony to enjoy breakfast lunch or dinner. The apartment was very clean and exactly as described in the pictures. The location is great as it is out of the hustle and bustle of the Costa del Sol but within a few minutes you are in the centre of it. Some private beaches 5-15 minute walk with the touristic beaches being a bit further but easily accessible by train or bus which is around the corner. The hosts were generous while respecting our privacy making our stay even better. All in all we would highly recommend this superb two bedroom ground floor apartment to anyone who would like a quiet and tranquil place to stay but with everything on your doorstep. A hard find in the Costa del Sol!

A car is recommended but bus and train are nearby with easy access to all main areas including Malaga.

Quiet and cozy place. Wonderful views of the sea and the sunrise. Caring and sweet owners. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Recommended for travelers with a car. Look forward to a return visit in the summer or autumn 2014.

Great Holiday

After a great nights sleep on a very comfy bed I awake on my first morning. I open the blinds and a big relaxed smile crosses my face as I am greeted with a sea view, sunshine, a lemon tree outside my window and mountains flanked with pretty Spanish houses - ahhh.

The apartment is pristine and very spacious; I squeeze some fresh oranges in the modern and well equipped garden and settle on the patio.

First stop is the lovely and private pool nestled in a large and well groomed garden, I could stay by the pool the whole week, but decide I should also do some site seeing too.

The apartment is well located for trips to Malaga (great for shopping, tapas and flamenco), Fuengirola, Torremolinos and the local picturesque village of Benamaida.

It is best to have a car and then you can really venture, we even managed a day trip to breathtaking Granada. Although there is a good train link and bus services in walking distance if you are without.

After a glorious week of sun, relaxation, good quality 3 euro wine from the excellent supermarkets and tapas in lovely restaurants, I am fully re-charged. I say goodbye to the friendly and helpful proprietors and I'm on my way, planning when I will next return.

Excellent Villa with good Location and Facilities

At first we were not sure about this Villa because there was no reviews, but after staying there I am honoured to write the first review.

Villa Juana is located ideally along the coast, about 2 minutes from the beach. Benalmadena central beach area is on its doorstep and you can drive to Malaga or Marbella within 20 minutes. Theres supermarkets near by if you want to cook up your own meals.

The villa has excellent views of both the sea and the mountains, each time we returned to the villa we were taken by the sheer beauty of the place. Theres even a mini fruit orchard with lemon trees!!

We had our own private garage with an electric gate!! The master bedroom was very good with a very very nice ensuite, the other room where the kids stayed was as good. Lounge is relaxing and spacious.

The kitchen is new and modern with everything you could ask for. Including a coffee maker and citrus juicer on top of your normal appliances such as fridge./freezer, washing machine, cooker/oven. Dishes and cutlery were also included!

The swimming pool was an absolute ideal place for the kids to enjoy, clean and a very generous size. Everything is well maintained.

The owners were very hospitable and friendly, and let us enjoy our privacy.

After staying there we highly recommend this villa and cannot really find and negative points.

Chalet Grande, Situacion Perfecta. Descanso&Relax

Nos hemos alojado durante esta Semana Santa del 2015 una familia con 2 niños, un bebe y niño algo más mayorcito. Lo primero de todo es que la situación de la casa ( Vila Juana) me parece ideal no, lo siguiente. Estas a unos minutos de varias playas que puedes ir tanto andando ( bajando unas cuentas) o en coche. Y subiendo hacia arriba estas en "Benalmádena Pueblo" a unos cuantos minutos, aunque aquí si es necesario coche aunque este a 5 minutos, pero andando son unas cuantas :-) y muy cuesta arriba. La situación es idónea, porque estas alejado de toda el alboroto de cualquier población. Esa zona es un remanso de paz. Las vistas que ya se tienen dentro de la casa son espectaculares y te pasarías horas mirándolas. En cuanto a la casa y su espacio es bastante generosa de tamaño y grande. Tanto las habitaciones como salón y demás zonas de la casa , son muy amplias. Y lo digo con conocimiento ya que la peque se ha pasado gateando toda la casa de lado a lado y sin parar. En nuestro caso solo utilizamos una habitación y dormimos yo y mi mujer con el nene y la peque en una cuna de viaje que nos facilitaron los dueños. Y en todo momento con mucho espacio. Fuera de la casa, y en la entrada hay una mesita con cuatro sillas para poder charlar, desayunar o hacer cualquier cosa mientras vigilas a los peques en el jardín. Nosotros la utilizábamos para desayunar los cuatro a primera hora de la mañana y por dios que gusto. La casa viene equipada en la cocina con los utensilios habituales : ollas, sartenes, vasos, cubiertos, etc. Esto es importante saberlo por si se quiere hacer uso para no llevarse nada de estas cosas. Delante tienes un jardín enorme para que los nenes puedan corretear y los mayores tomar el sol o desconectar. El jardín estaba en ese momento sin arreglar pero aun así los peques pudieron corretear y jugar al balón. Ya en la parte de arriba tienes un amplia piscina para poder refrescarte con unas tumbonas espectaculares. Fuera de la casa está muy cerca de varios supermercados ( Mercadona, Supersol, Dia, etc..) y a 10 minutos del centro de Benalmádena donde ya está allí ya todo el bullicio de gente.

Sobre los dueños, un encanto la verdad. En todo momento puedes solicitarles cualquier cosa que te echaran una mano. Ya sea preguntarles por algo del pueblo o algo de la casa. Mi único punto negativo :-) por decir algo es el Wifi, que aunque no sabíamos que teníamos jeje, comentar que en ningún lado de la casa conseguí cobertura y mira que probé con varios disp

Eind oktober/begin november verbleven we in dit mooie en ruime appartement met uitzicht op zee (steenworp afstand); prachtige zonsopkomst/ondergang. In deze tijd van jaar prima temperatuur om uitstapjes te maken naar bijv. Rhonda en Granada. Met alle vragen konden we bij huiseigenaar terecht. Ruud en Anne-Marie Hoenen

Ski: The beautiful Sierra Nevada ski resort is in the province of Granada which is only a 90 minute drive from Villa Juana. It is known for being unique for its great weather and the fact that on a good day you can ski in a t-shirt with a view of the Mediterranean!
