Pechon has been published in many magazines and news documents as one of those special and exclusive places in Spain that must be visited. Pechon is situated between two rivers and has three lovely beaches. The peaks of Europe (Fuente De) is 64 kilometers, San Vicente 8 kilometers, Llanes 20 Kilometers, and very close, other beautiful towns such as Comillas, Colombres, Santillana del Mar, Ribadesella. If you like visiting caves there are several of the important ones such as Altamira, Tito bustillo and the recently opened and very beautiful (Soplao). During the Summer months there is also an important amount of cultural events in all of Cantabria and Asturias (considering Pechon is the last town of Cantabria and on the border line of Asturias). I've been to Spain several times. This trip has been very peaceful and scenic. The owners are very friendly and received us with champagne, chocolates and a video of the town and it's surroundings which are absolutely lovely. The home is situated at a dead end street which was just perfect for our children and close to the beach. The home was more than we expected for our comfort and of course we would love to return. Thank you for our wonderful vacation!

Pechon es un lugar fantastico pleno de belleza natural y tranquilidad. Todo su entorno es espectacular con acantilados y playas de extraordinarioa belleza. La casa es perfecta y esta situada en unlugar con preciosas vistas y absoluta tranquilidad. Es muy comoda, decorada con gusto, en nuestro caso hasta la enganalaron con un arbol de Navidad y otros motivos navideños. Esta equipada con absolutamente de todo y la atencion recibida por parte de Augustine y Paco fue magnifica. Gracias por todo y tened la seguridad que volveremos. Aun nos queda mucho por ver. Un abrazo

A brillant holiday

The house was lovely and so was the owner - we arrived late at night and he had stocked up on breakfast for us - a really nice touch. The village was very quiet. The beach was a short walk away and was gorgeous.
The area is fantastic with the Picos de Europa and marvellous beaches within easy reach. A brilliant holiday.

A terraced house - not a villa

The "beautiful villa with garden" is not a villa! It turns out to be a terraced house with a small gravelled area around it. It is an "end of a terrace" house, and it has partition walls on one side and on the back. The partition walls are so thin that you can hear the smallest noise from next door. Luckily, the neighboors were discret, but this might not have been the case with someone else.
Owner's Response: Thank you for your review although we are sorry you haven't read our advertisement fully because it does mention clearly that the home is (semi-attatched) where the description of the home is. Other than this detail we understand that you had a nice stay which we are glad. Our reviews show how happy our clients are which is the most important thing above everything else. The garden is more than 100 meters so I guess it all depends on what one would consider small or large. Once again we are glad you enjoyed your stay and forgive us if we cannot please everyone in every sense but we certainly try hard enough.

Pechon is a great spot for a family and very close to the beach. The neighbourhood is very quiet and it is a good place to relax and enjoy summer without the usual crowd.
