Torre delle Stelle, 30 km far from Cagliari and 15 far from Villasimius: turquoise sea, depths which slant gently, north-west wind and much more that only Sardinian nature can offer.
Torre delle Stelle is a village situated on a promontory along the coastal road that leads from Cagliari to Villasimius in the south-east of Sardinia. It is the coastal area of the towns of Maracalagonis and Sinnai.
Torre is only 45 km far from the Cagliari Elmas airport, where a lot of flight lands from all Europe. Arriving by car its important to follow the signs to Villasimius and drive trough the beautiful coastal road with lovely views on the most amazing beaches of South Sardinia like Is Canaleddus and Mari Pintau.
Torre delle Stelle has two wonderful beaches, Genn'e Mari e Cann'e Sisa, the water in not too deep and the color is green - blue with thousands of shades.
The village is an excellent starting point for exploring the many beaches in the area, some still wild as that of Sa Ruxi, surrounded by a grove of juniper trees shaped by the wind or Mari Pintau, famous for the color of its waters.
Inside the village you can do Fishing & Snorkeling, Water Skiing and Diving. There are several tennis courts, bowling and basketball court. Less than 1 km you can go horseback riding along the trails that penetrate into the Mediterranean.
During the summer months are active Emergency medical services and veterinary clinic. From spring to autumn is also open a pharmacy.
