Deia is popular with cyclists and walkers in the cooler months.

Coast/Beach:

From just below Ca'n Llimoner you can pick up the scenic coastal path which takes you to the nearest beach, Cala Deia, a 20-25 minute rugged walk away, down a long cobbled donkey pathway.

Travel:

Palma airport is 35-40 mins away.

Distances:

Palma is 30 mins by car, there is a frequent bus service to Palma and Soller. Port of Soller where it is possible to go on boat trips etc is 15 mins by car.

Further Details:

Deia is wonderful for a peaceful escape. Once visited, the village becomes an annual feature on most people’s holiday list. It really is a magical place, combining some of the most stunning scenery in Mallorca with a laid back and bohemian feel, whilst offering the most amazing selection of restaurants.

For those wanting to venture further afield, Deia is the perfect base for exploring Mallorca by car or bike. Soller and Valldemossa are each 15 minutes’ drive away and are also served by an excellent bus service from the top of the road.

Opposite Ca’n Llimoner are the village tennis courts and boules courts, which were resurfaced in 2014. You can book the courts, which are free of charge, via the Town Hall and you will find tennis rackets and balls in the house. There is also a boules set if you fancy joining the locals for a match one evening!

Notes:
Notes on accommodation: The house has air conditioning to all the bedrooms. Cots and highchairs available at no extra cost on request. There is parking adjacent to the house although, as the village, shops and restaurants are a 5 mins (uphill) walk away, the house is ideal for guests who do not wish to use a car during their stay. We have a no smoking no pets policy. Unfortunately changes made to European satellite settings by UK and Spanish TV have resulted in weaker signals for British Sky TV channels in Mallorca. To counterbalance this we have installed a larger satellite dish, but signals are still prone to weakness and we cannot guarantee that satellite TV will be available at all times. Regretfully this is totally out of our control. Inclement weather and heavy cloud over the mountains can also affect the signal and occasionally the Sky signal will scramble temporarily. Outside: Outside are lovely terraces cobbled and tiled in traditional Mallorcan style. It has a very sunny aspect – in the summer the sun is on the patio from about 10/10.30am until sunset. The house has a private swimming pool (unheated) with lovely views of the mountains and the sea. There are 6 wooden sun loungers and two parasols. There is a gas BBQ and a large outside dining table on the shaded terrace, which accommodates 8 people. Utility Room: Washing machine, tumble dryer and utility ceramic sink. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels, including pool towels provided. Property cleaned weekly. Towels and linen changed weekly. Other: There is a formal dining room with 2 sets of double doors leading outside onto the patio.
