Beltingham House was once owned by Lady Mary Bowes-Lyon. Past visitors to the house include the Queen Mother, Princess Margaret and Prince Charles. Now owned by local interior designers, the house had been refurbished to provide a luxurious holiday home in a picturesque setting.

The accommodation comprises of the main house and 2 cottages which are all interlinked to form one large property.

Beltingham House is beautifully situated on the edge of Beltingham, arguably Northumberland’s prettiest hamlet, in the unspoilt rural South Tyne Valley, just across the river from Bardon Mill village. The market town of Hexham, with its racecourse and full range of shops and services is approximately 11 miles east, whilst Newcastle upon Tyne with its international airport and national rail service is a further 23 miles. Carlisle, which has excellent road and rail connections for the west side of the country, is only 28 miles to the west.

The House itself has a sunny, southerly aspect and good views to the north across the valley. It is ideally positioned to explore the treasures of the beautiful Northumbrian countryside
