Relax and enjoy the beautiful landscape and farm 25 km from Amsterdam.

The apartment is spacious and yet cosy and with an authentic look.

In the apartment are two double bedrooms, each with two excellent fresh, single box spring beds of 2.10 m. Eventually there is the possibility for 1 or 2 extra beds. The apartment has a clean shower, a spacious living room with an open kitchen with all modern conveniences such as a microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer and cooker.

Everywhere is wireless internet.

The Sint Nicolaashoeve is located one hundred meters away from the village of Nieuwveen. The village has a supermarket, various shops, snack bar, bench, bike rental and bus stop.

You find restaurants within 2 km distance.

The Sint Nicolaashoeve is affiliated with Groene Hart Logies. A chain of high quality guest accommodations.

In the apartment smoking is not allowed.

We were a family of 12, including 5 children, visiting from Australia, making use of 3 of the apartments. This was an ideal arrangement for a large family group, as we were all together, yet enjoyed the independence of separate apartments. It was very central for all the places we wanted to visit. The 5 children loved being shown how a Dutch farm works, as well as many happy hours on the bikes. The younger members couldn't believe you could just walk or ride to the local village, where everything you could possibly need was available to us. This is not possible in Australia! The apartments were excellent, with extremely comfortable beds. Only downside is that towels are considered an extra. Can't understand why? Thank you so much Gerard for giving us all the opportunity to experience the delights of a farm stay for a week in NL, for our sentimental journey back to the homeland of my husband and their father/grandfather.

A family stay with 2 babies

A great place to stay ! Very clean and well equiped appartment. Proprietors are very friendly, and give precious advices.
Landscape is beautiful
Convenient commodities are just 200m from the farm.

There are although some bikes available.

It's a real farm in activity, with lot of animals (rabbit, cow, veal, dog, ...)
My son would have spent all his day there if we were not riding to cities or sites that are not far away (Amsterdam, Keukenhof)

In conclusion : we recommend this place !

We were a party of 5 staying in Gerard and Eveline`s apartment for 5 days in April 2013. Gerard welcomed us on our arrival and showed us over the accommodation which was as described online. Everything nice and clean and tidy. There is a selection of bikes that guests can use which covered all age groups. My grandchildren also found a new interest in Gerard`s dairy herd. There is also a recreation area for table tennis etc which they made good use of. The local supermarket is a short walk away in Nieuwveen which was handy .We were able to include a visit to the flower auction in Aalsmeer which is nearby. This is well worth a visit as was also the 2 visits we made to Keukenhof which was open during our stay. We enjoyed a very pleasant stay and found Gerard and Eveline very helpful.

Home away from home Dutch holiday

We had a wonderful 12 day holiday at St Nicolaashoeve and received a very warm welcome from Gerard and Eveline, who were very friendly and helpful with every question and request. The location was fantastic in such a beautiful village with just the right amount of local facilities to make for a peaceful relaxing place to stay.
The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated and very spacious, a total pleasure. The beds were supercomfartable too which is always a bonus on holiday. The facilities such as the large games and play room and the washing and drying area were very useful.
Our children (10 and 11) enjoyed the games room and roaming around the farm playing with the kittens and Jackie, the friendly dog.
We would not hesitate to either recommend these apartments or visit again ourselves.

French holidaymakers at Nicolaashoeve

It was our fourth or fifth time in Holland and we particularly enjoyed the location of SintNicolaashoeve. Very close to different shops : supermarket, bike rental, baker... it was really nice not to need a car for the very usual shopping.
Great place to cycle, to reach the coast or to visit the greatest cities such as Haarlem, Gouda, Leyde... and Amsterdam of course (even if we didn't go this time) !
The appartment is equipped properly and is definitely very clean and very confortable. The small terrasse (South exposition) was really enjoyable. The only thing we suffered a bit at the beginning was the noise from the airport but the number of flights went down and we get used to. To conclude, Gerard and Evelyn are very kind people, what would expect more ?
