Perfect Place, Superb Location, Excellent Service

We, two female travellers, stayed for 1 month in the apartment in February 2013, and 3 weeks in February 2010. We are very grateful to Nobi and his team for their hospitality, the great service, and for really making us feel home. The apartment itself is very spacious and perfect for us with bedrooms and bathrooms for each of us. We slept very well on the fine mattresses. The kitchen is well equipped, we could enjoy breakfast and lunch or dinner in the apartment, when we did not have meals at the nearby restaurants with really good and tasty food. We could sit on the private balcony, and we really enjoyed the roof terrace. It was so relaxing to sit and watch the Nile flow by on one side and the mountains on the other side of the terrace. The location is perfect for us with all the shops nearby, as well as the local ferry and the motorboats, and all the historical sites we wanted to visit and study both on the West and the East Bank. WiFi worked really well, which we appreciated. The service was efficient, helpful and friendly. Whenever we needed something, Ahmed, the housekeeper, was there for us: shopping, carrying packs of waterbottles, serving tea and karkadeh on the roof, bringing us fresh bread and warm falafel in the morning, helping us with the Egyptian phonecards etc. The cleaning was done efficiently and professionally by Nasser. The best taxidrivers and motorboat and felucca captains and crews were arranged for us. And Nobi, the owner, was there whenever we had any questions or needed any help or advice. All in all, we were treated like family members, and could not ask for more. Our privacy was respected and we could feel safe on the premises and in the surroundings. We are so looking forward to be back again next winter, hopefully for a longer stay.
