Ski: Sierra Nevada is 3 hrs away drive through the outskirts of GRANADA. Has beautiful ski slopes and numerous runs of varying difficulties to satisfy all standards. It is the most southerly ski resort in Europe and is small in comparison to other European resorts. Even so, the resort hosted the 1996 world ski championships.
Due to the location the Sierra Nevada usually has exceptionally sunny weather, seeing people sunbathing halfway up the slopes is not uncommon!! this resort provides a different skiing experiance!
