Self-catering gîte with own garden. Friendly pigs, donkey,goats and mini ponies

A well-equipped gîte (one of three ) L'Ecurie sleeps 6. It has an en-suite bedroom and two further bedrooms with twin beds and a bathroom. Downstairs there is a large living room / kitchen. A private garden with a terrace and lawn, garden furniture and B.B.Q overlooks a little lake where we have ducks and two black swans. There is a play area with swings and a trampoline for children and a boules pitch for all to enjoy. You can walk around our fields and spy out the the wood-pecker, the kingfisher and the resident heron or just enjoy the peace and the fact that children can play with no worries. We are completely enclosed.

We have a horse, a donkey 2 little ponies, sheep,goats and 4 Kune Kune pigs who are all very friendly and enjoy our guests arrival!!!

Local Attractions & places to visit: There is a wealth of interesting places; 10mins - an hour

Dinan a medieval town with cobbled streets leading down to the river Rance where you can hire boats or bicycles. There are many little shops, galleries and restaurants.

St Malo---a fortified port, you can walk around the ramparts, visit the many shops, go to a beautiful beach stretching for miles and often visit a ship.

Combourg with its chateau

Becherel, a tiny city of book shops and a chateau on its outskirts.

Mont St Michel a must . Close by an alligator park!!

Specially for Children: A large zoo in the grounds of the Chateau Bourbonsais. 15mins.

Kayaking. 10mins.

Horse Riding. 15mins

Aquarium in St Malo 30mins

Cobac adventure park.

Many many beaches 40mins -1hr

Details for holiday chateau / country house Aragon, 2 Bedrooms, Sleeps 7, 2 Bathrooms

Aragon is half of the old Manor House at Lesnen Petits Bois dating around the 18th century. It sleeps 5/7.The previous French owners lived in Aragon and it has a wonderful traditional French feel; enormous fire in the kitchen,thick walls. It is beautifully furnished, very warm and comfortable. Besides the kitchen Aragon has a large sitting room ,shower room and toilet downstairs and upstairs two pretty bedrooms ,one double and one with three beds, a large bathroom and separate toilet. We wanted one of our gites to have every convenience for families with young children and if there is anything you especially require we will do our best to help. Cots and high chair are free. The warm indoor pool, the play area and our menagerie of animals (donkey, pigs,chickens,ducks,sheep and goats) all hoping to be fed make this an ideal holiday--you don't need to go anywhere. Aragon has its' own terraces for eating out it has a lovely view across the lawn towards our Chapel of St Aragon

Notes

  • As in Ecurie a deposit of £100 is required with the balance and security cheque due 3 weeks before your holiday.
    Payment can be in euros( the rate to be agreed), or pounds and by cheque or transfer.
    A cleaning charge of £30 is asked for unless you wish to leave the gite in the condition that you find it when you arrive.
    Linen is included apart from towels £5 p.p if wanted. 2013 towels included in The Hayloft.
    Tax de Sejour for adults and children over 13 in 2012
    Arrival time is anytime after 4p.m and departure by 10a.m
    Out of season I am happy to be flexible.
    The pool is open and heated all through the year.
    Shopping can be arranged for your arrival.
    Prices will increase in 1213 to include the charge for tax de sejour.
