A spacious self-catering rental with sea views

The apartment is on the first floor of a new small, recently built and exclusive development of apartments. It has a large terrace overlooking the Pollensa bay, beach and marina at the Southern end of the famous Pine Walk, a very attractive pedestrian promenade which runs along the shoreline. The apartment is therefore away from roads and the noise of traffic, and is within walking distance of numerous excellent restaurants, shops and all the facilities of Puerto Pollensa. Whether you just want to work, relax, watch the children play on the beach, which is only 20m away, or participate in watersports, everything is within a short walking distance. This spacious air conditioned apartment is served by a lift, has 3 double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a lounge, kitchen and utility, and is fully furnished and equipped in a contemporary style. The apartment is safe for children and accessible for the disabled. The large balcony offers a balance between views and privacy with some screening from the trees on the Pine Walk in the Summer and later part of the season. It is the ideal rental.

General Information: Puerto Pollensa has a large market every Wednesday where local produce, clothing, souvenirs, etc, can be purchased. The town square with its church is a lively traffic free focus of the local community, and, with its restaurants and bars, is a popular meeting place for the locals and visitors alike. For those who want a hire car, it is very convenient to pick up a car at the airport and return at the end of the rental. There are plenty of free parking spaces in Puerto Pollensa, even in the height of the season, but for those who choose to travel from the airport by taxi (80 euros approx) or bus, there are many hire companies in the town for the occasional day trip to explore the island.

The whole family had an amazing holiday. It suited everyone. I caught up on my reading, whilst sunbathing on the balcony overlooking the sea, and the kids spent most of their time swimming and enjoying watersports. The evenings were great, with tremendous restaurants and everything within walking distance – no need for the car!

Excellent apartment with great balcony view.

Modern apartment well equipped and in very good condition. Located over restaurants on the pinewalk but still quiet (although this was end of season). Large balcony was a great place to relax with excellent views over the bay. Many good restaurants within a few minutes walk. Parking was ok but maybe more of a problem in high season. Beach located right in front of the apartment was ok but expect may be crowded in high season. No issiues with the apartment apart from a small problem with the balcony canopy on last day (wouldnot retract). Property manager advised and noted. Would recommend. Plenty of local day trips to do with car and some good walks available also of varying degrees of difficulty. Ambrosia and Siller restaurants highly recommended.
Owner's Response: So sorry about the canopy winder, which was attended to by the maintenance staff later the same day.

A well positioned property, ideal for restaurants and beaches. A perfect place for our family - five adults and a young disabled child in a wheelchair. The weather was hot when we arrived and to step into the air conditioned apartment was wonderful. There is everything in the apartment necessary for a relaxing holiday, and with beach activities extremely close by you couldn't pick a better place.

A Late Celebration

Our friends and my husband and I enjoyed a beautiful week in the apartment. We have been to the resort on several occasions but our stay was enhanced by this apartment, the terrace and especially the location. We had a totally relaxing week, sunbathing on the terrace, bathing in the sea and dining in the wonderful array of restaurants.
We hope to return in the not too distant future!

Excellent apartment in a great position

My wife and I went to the apartment for our Silver Wedding in early September 2011 and were joined for part of the time by our son and daughter-in-law. It is a superb position with a great terrace overlooking the marina and we found it clean, spacious and very well equipped. We had no noise problems from the other apartments or from the many restaurants below. The only slight noise issue that we encountered was from the pool bar at the Hotel Daina which has live music until around midnight, but even then this only related to the terrace and not inside the apartment. There is a great choice of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk - or on the doorstep if you are feeling lazy. We went to La Llonja on the Marina for our silver wedding celebrations and had excellent food and service at perfectly reasonable prices. The L'illa Tapas restaurant immediately below the apartment was very good for either breakfast, lunch or dinner and the jetty of the Capri is a super place to have a drink or something to eat with stunning views. C'an Josep on Passeig Saralegui and Los Zarzales on Calle Jafuda Cresques were other favourites and both had live music.

We had an excellent holiday and if you want a quality apartment in the centre of everything with amazing views you won't do better than this.

The Pollensa area is the most attractive part of Mallorca with its amazing coastline, green landscape and pine forests, and, with the new road, is now less than a 45 minute drive from the airport. Puerto Pollensa is the port of the very attractive old historic town of Pollensa which is 3 km inland. Pollensa, is famous for its art, concerts and buildings. Puerto Pollensa, however, has every watersports facility within a 5 minute walk of the apartment. Whether you want to waterski, dingy sail, windsurf, kite surf, dive or have an inclination to sail the bigger yachts, they are all here. Walkers are also well provided for, runners have miles of flat promenade to exercise, and both the serious and recreational cyclist can hire their equipment here. Pollensa Golf Club is nearby and, for the addict, there are 19 further golf courses on the island. There is no shortage of places to eat, ranging from bars for a quick snack to high highly acclaimed quality restaurants.

Notes:
The apartments were built in 2004 on the front line, and the development is part of a group of 14 apartments, 8 of which, including this apartment, face the sea. Whilst the apartment faces the promenade, the marina and beach, it is partly screened by the palms, tamarind and acacia trees, and as a result enjoys views of the bay as well as maintaining its own privacy. The apartment has air-conditioning in every room. The fully equipped kitchen and utility provides for every need, however, the apartment is very easy to manage.
