First Floor 1 bedroom apartment

See separate tabs at top, conveniently located, residential street and only 4 minutes from West Finchley underground station taking you straight into Central London in 20 minutes. It has a direct link to Kings Cross and very convenient for Eurostar. High quality accommodation consists of an extremely large studio with kitchenette, lounge, bed area and with a beautiful en-suite bathroom with shower, marble floors, granite shelves and high spec fittings. The kitchenette includes a fridge, hob and cooker with a small table and chairs for dining.

The 1 Bed Apartment has wooden flooring and a separate lounge, kitchen and bedroom. Can sleep 5.

Locally, there is excellent shopping, a shopping centre and conveniently located for Hampstead and busy Camden.

Street Parking outside the property is free. Other facilities include a large TV with many cable channels. Wireless Cable Broadband is also available.

General Area of Finchley Central: It is a very clean and tidy apartment and it is in the London suburb called Finchley which is a very safe and nice area. It is located in a quiet residential road away from passing traffic or train noise.

In terms of amenities, the apartment is approximately 4 minutes walk to West Finchley tube station and there are a few shops including a sweet shop and a small supermarket where you can buy the basics. Then, about 10 minutes walk (or there are bus services from the top of the road), there is Finchley Central or North Finchley which has Tesco’s, Waitrose and Sainsbury's supermarkets. They also have the full range of banks and building societies. North Finchley has more extensive shopping facilities including a very wide range of general shops, cafes and restaurants and should be able to cater for all of your needs.

Facilities and local bus: The apartments are very well situated in West Finchley only minutes from the underground station which takes you straight into central London without changing. It is 25 minutes from Kings Cross (approx 2.5 hours from Paris!!).

There are also buses at the top of my road and excellent shopping facilities nearby. If you decided to hire a car there are no parking restrictions or parking charges as there would be in central London, as you can park for free outside the house.

About 15-20 minutes by bus from top of road is Brent Cross shopping centre in Hendon which has all of the main shops including John Lewis, Marks and Spencer and all of the mainstream fashion shops and well known high street chains and has extensive options of places to eat. This is an enclosed shopping centre (and so you don't have to worry about the weather) and there is a bus (the 326) which runs from the top of my road (1-2 minute walk) and takes you directly to the shopping centre where it terminates.

Within easy Reach by Tube: Hampstead on the Northern Line has a vast choice on offer. It is an extremely pretty suburb of London. On one side it has countless restaurants, cafés, bars, cinemas, pancakes, shops and theatre and on the other side it has Hampstead Heath with breathtaking views of London, a teahouse in an old English mansion and beautiful walks through very pretty parkland. This is one of the prettiest parks in North London. This is one of the most expensive and exclusive suburbs of London and I find it very pleasurable just walking through some of the residential areas to see the houses, many of which are absolutely fabulous (I can dream!).

Just a stop away from Hampstead is Belsize Park (but is also a pleasant walk from Hampstead) which is a very pleasant up market area with many restaurants. Then another stop away on the underground is the well known district of Camden. This is home to the very famous Camden Lock Market, which has a vast array of stalls and shops on offer and is very near.

A very clean and tidy apartment in the London suburb called Finchley which is a very safe and nice area. It is located in a quiet residential road away from passing traffic or train noise. I will also provide basic foods on your arrival including 2 pints milk, tea, coffee, sugar, small box of cereal, margarine, jam, small loaf of bread, salt, pepper, cooking oil etc. This should save you packing and carrying excess weight and will give you more time to relax upon your arrival. The apartment is all open plan. It is L shaped. Starting from the top of the 'L' there is the Kitchenette, then there is a dressing area, then there is a reasonable sized lounge area and then in the corner of the 'L' (which you cannot see in the photos) is a double bed area which sleeps 2. The sofa acts as a further double bed when required, and I also have another single that can be fit in so sleeping 5 maximum.

We (2 Adults, 2 Teenagers and 2 seven year old children) have spent one week in the garden apartment.
It was a very friendly, nearly perfect budget accomodation for our needs. The apartment was clean and the kitchen was very well equipped.
WiFi was very useful for sightseeing and shopping plannings.
The owner was very friendly and helpful. We could leave our bicycles in a small alley beneath the house.
Tube from nearby station brought us very quickly (about 20 min.) to the City attractions.

Very nice apartment

The apartment was simple and nice just exacly what we were looking for.But we have a litle problem with lights of the bedroom and we try to contact with owner by e-mail ,sms and telephone.we had no responce at all.I was wonder if there was a bigger problem with apartment and we couldnt found the owner we sould leave the apartment?That i know is when you take some money from the costumer and he have a problem you have contact we him and not just take the money and leave.
Owner's Response: This review is very unexpected. Whenever I have guests that need things put right in the apartment I make arrangements straight away to resolve things. On some rare occasions I have been busy and a little difficult (I do have a life too) to get hold of and maybe it was one of these occasions, unless the guest has exagerated the efforts to make contact.

All I can say is that the other 150 families that visited this year did not find me difficult to get hold of and I have resolved all of their issues. This one must have slipped through the net. I can assure all of my future guests that I keep my apartments to a very high standard and will always respond quickly to any issues that occur when they stay with me.

Russell is very friendly to help us. The apartment is not far from West Finchley underground station, as well as with bus 326 connecting to Brent Cross shopping mall. Nice and bright kitchenIt has all cutlery you need. We spent evenings to watch cable channels programmes in the cozy reception. My two kids enjoyed playing trampoline in the rear garden, also at the playground within the nearby park. We really had a very good time during our stay in Russell's apartment. We highly recommend it to all family to accommodate here during your stay in London.

Fabulous vacation apartment

This is a super apartment and Russell was an extremely helpful owner. We were stuck in London due to the volcanic ash and he was so very accomodating that we were able to stay longer. My husband, myself and our 3 children were very comfortable there. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. We didn't have a car which was fine because we were a short walk away from the Tube. Russell was able to make some great recommendations on tourist sites and best ways to travel to them. He really made us feel like we were home. There is a grocery store very close by and the family that own it our extremely friendly. We had a wonderful time in London and would definately return to Russell's apartment and I high;y recommend staying there.
