Set in magical Victorian gardens, Great Tangley Manor nestles on the edge of the Surrey Hills. With 1000 years of history, including numerous Royal visits, where better to spend a relaxing weekend away from the pace of modern life. The perfect venue for a family celebration or a friends catch up. We also offer Great Tangley as a business and film location venue. We provide five individually styled double/twin bedrooms and two award winning dinning areas. The property is available for short term rentals on a self catering/catered basis throughout the year and can includes exclusive use of our forty foot indoor heated pool 9am -5pm.

We recently had the pleasure of spending a weekend at this amazing property - it was perfect! We were 10 friends that decided to go somewhere special and our choice could not have been better.

We loved the gardens, the moat, and every inch of the fabulous house. The kitchen and dining room is well equipped and perfect for entertaining.

The property manager provided superb customer service - every question answered and all our needs catered for.

I would recommend this very reasonably priced property as a fantastic getaway for anyone, and I cant wait to go there myself again.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

What a wonderful stay we all had 11 people in close proximity for a whole weekend but Tangley provides plenty of space for all. Elegant and yet homely we all slotted right in and relaxed the moment we stepped through the door. The old manor has bags of charm we felt like royalty seated for dinner at the long table and yet as if we were all at home in the delightfully large kitchen dining area.
We had a splendid long walk to discover the local area and a welcome indoor swim on chilly day. The bedrooms and the bathrooms were spacious and clean. In all we had a really great stay and would definitely recommend Tangley to others.

I spent my birthday weekend at Great Tangley with a group of friends. The house was great -- big enough for everyone to have their own space when needed, but also plenty of cosy gathering places, like the library and dining room. The gardens are stunning... even when covered with snow as was the case during our stay. I highly recommend it and also was very happy with the fantastic dinner from Kalm Kitchen, one of Great Tangley's approved caterers.

Money Well Spent for a Luxury/Rockstar Weekend

ITS BETTER THAN THE PHOTOS!!

We had such and amazing time in this absolutely gorgeous and well-put together vacation property. All our friends were even more pleased with the place when they arrived and saw that is is actually more gorgeous than in the photos. The management was reachable whenever we had a question or needed anything and they thought of everything (except possibly a more comprehensive music system-where is the BASS?).
It was fantastic value for money-worth every penny. We wanted to stay longer and may be back sooner than we thought.

The house was a dream come true for us - we had a special, memorable time there. The house was very comfortable, the gardens exceptional and the country-side spectacular. The staff and owners made us feel very welcome and helped in making our family reunion a very special occasion.
