Spacious self-contained part of a fully restored 18th century farmhouse 2 km from the picturesque village of Flayosc. The ground floor apartment has its own parking, entrance and spacious sun-terrace (60 m2). There are 2 large bedrooms, sleeps 6, a bathroom with bath and WC, combined equipped kitchen and sitting room with fireplace. The rooms have been restored with lots of care and the beams and some other details in the bedrooms originate from the 18th century.
The solar heated swimming pool (4x8) is entirely for the private use of the rental guests (the owners may go for a quick swim if it's very hot). The pool has a decent temperature between May and September (above 20 C).
The property is set in 10 acres of vineyard, olive trees and pine forest. The owners produce 200 bottles of excellent rosé wine.
There are plenty of nice walks near the property.
The property also has a 9 hole pitching course set in 2 ha (5 acres).
The area: Situated 2 kilometres from Flayosc, 7 kilometres west of Draguignan, 1 hour from Nice Airport. Only 40 mins away from the sandy beaches of the St. Tropez bay and the dramatic scenery of Gorges de Verdon. Perched medieval villages, olive mills, wine tasting and first class gourmet restaurants. There are 15 challenging golf courses within an hour's drive.
There are plenty of nice countryside walks near the house.

Flayosc: The village Flayosc is the perfect location to relax and enjoy the beauty of Provence, only 40 minutes away from the busy tourist spots of the coast. The village offers excellent shops for food, a weekly market, pharmacy, bank, several bars and restaurants, laundry/dry cleaner and wine cooperative.
It also has a tourist office offering excellent information about the area.
The Kahler-Norder family: We are a Swedish family of three, Jan, Lisa and Amanda (born in 1993) who've been renovating this 200 year old house for the last 10 years. We live here permanently and would be more than happy to give you plenty of advice regarding places worth visiting and tell you about our favourite beaches & restaurants.
The apartment that we rent out is on the ground floor and it's completely independent from our part, which has all its entrances on the other side of the house.
We have a small vineyard and produce 150 bottles of rosé wine. Whilst you're staying with us we'll invite you over for a glass (or two)!
Our vine harvest normally takes place some time during the first three weeks of September. You will be asked if you'd like to join us to pick and press the grapes. After a morning's hard work you're invited to have lunch with us at the old stone table. It's a great day with lots of fun.
