Family-friendly apartments for 4-6 people in an idyllic fishing village

The apartment is 100m * large, suitable for 4 adults and 2 children and consists of 2 bedroom en (located to the rear, so quiet ...), two bathrooms with shower and a large living kitchen, which has a balcony - from here look at the port or towards the mountains, and a large private roof terrace which is furnished with a table, 6 chairs and two loungers ..

The kitchen is equipped with fridge / freezer, 4 ring ceramic hob, oven, coffee maker, microwave, toaster ... So perfect for self-catering. A washing machine is available as well. The large kitchen is separated by a bar with 4 bar stools from the living area.

The living area has a sofa bed, 2 chair with ottoman and next to radio, you can of course also receive German television. The sofa can be converted with 2 handles in a full double bed thanks slats and good mattresses.

In the corridor are located next cleaning utensils also an ironing board and iron.

Location of the apartment: The apartment is located in the harbor with numerous shopping facilities in the neighborhood. The house in which the apartment is located in the second and third floor, is a quiet apartment house. The apartment is also accessible by a lift, which is very convenient especially for arrival and departure or after a long day of hiking. The apartment is on two levels - bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room on the lower floor, then go up a flight of stairs to your private roof terrace and the second Bedroom which has direct access to the terrace, and the other bathroom ..

Brilliant location and excellent value for money.

Had a wonderful holiday with my brother and niece. Excellent location for shops, bars and restaurants (and peace and quiet). Property was clean and tidy and met all my needs. The streets are clean and crime free. You would pay 3 times the amount for an apartment in Majorca. Everything else is so cheap. I paid 2 Euros for bottle of water and large glass of wine. The local supermarket is also very cheap as well as the local butcher, who gave us some free sausages. There is also an excellent fish shop and bakers around the corner.

The owner, Anne, is very friendly and approachable. Everything you see in the pictures is accurate. A lovely apartment that is well decorated. The roof top terrace is actually much bigger than it appears in the photograph. A brilliant place for a barbecue. We had relatives staying at the fancy hotel 5 minutes away, and organised a meal for 11 on the terrace. It was brilliant.

So if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, try this place out. Trust me, you will feel refreshed afterwards.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in gepflegtem Haus

Wir haben im Februar/März vier wunderschöne Wochen in dieser hellen, geräumigen Wohnung verbracht. Sie ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und hat eine grosszügige, zum Kochen einladende Küche. Die zusätzliche, sonnige Dachterrasse mit den bequemen Sonnenliegen fanden wir super. Ganz besonders geschätzt haben wir das ruhige Schlafzimmer. Die von Einheimischen belebte Strasse hört man dort wirklich nicht.

Die nette, unkomplizierte Vermieterin war ausgesprochen hilfsbereit und sehr grosszügig – sei es bei Kleinigkeiten oder auch was Extrawünsche betrafen. Der persönliche Abholservice vom Flughafen, sowie die günstige Privatauto Vermietung waren weitere Pluspunkte.

Alcala, der noch ursprüngliche Ort hat uns begeistert - fern von Touristen-Hochburgen und doch zentral - ein Domizil nahe am Puls des kanarischen Lebens. Die fast vor der Haustür liegenden Küsten-Wanderwege nach San Juan oder Playa de la Arena, haben wir sehr genossen. Um die Insel zu erkunden gibt es gute Busverbindungen, die wir rege benutzt haben. Für abgelegene Wanderrouten ist ein Mietauto empfehlenswert.

Eigentlich Schade

Wir haben uns soweit in der Wohnung ganz wohl gefühlt. Die Sauberkeit bei Wohnungsübergabe, besonders im Bad und in der Küche ließ allerdings sehr zu wünschen übrig. Wir erwarten in jedem Fall einen anderen Sauberkeitsstandart.. Ein Handtuchwechsel ist sicher auch keine zu hohe Erwartung.

Owner's Response: Wirklich Schade! Da wir vor Ort leben und alle Gäste unsere Handynummern haben, empfehle ich: Bitte sofort melden, sollte irgendetwas nicht stimmen. Ob zusätzliche Auflaufform, frische Bettwäsche oder Handtücher, wir müssen es halt nur wissen! Einen schlechten Urlaub verbringen und im Gegenzug eine noch schlechtere Bewertung abgeben bringt doch keinem etwas...

Alcalá is an absolute must if you want to get to know the original Tenerife. The small fishing village, located in sunny southwest of Tenerife between Playa San Juan and Los Gigantes, enjoys a nice little Plaza, where you can relax: all around small bars, tapas bars and restaurants or cafes - at any time of the day you can watch the world go by. Monday is market day, then flower, fruit and vegetable stalls are set up and sold a lot of souvenirs. Often small or even large fiestas take place, and once the sun goes down and it is too fresh at 30 meters from the beach, there is the whole clan here for walking, games and news-swapping.

Although there is now a 5-star hotel on the outskirts you realize nothing from tourism - the positive side effect of the hotel is a very nice park right by the sea, which can be reached in 5 minutes on a wonderful promenade by the natural harbor of. At the end of a really beautiful beach promenade has been created: Semi-natural beach with three bays, semi-natural swimming pool, so it can be safely geschommen almost every swell. Especially the swimming pool, which are supplied with sea water, ideal for children. On the beach coves chairs can be rented as well as the port of Alcalá.

Thanks to the constant quality of the water three really big turtles have in the port of Alcalá settled - Snorkelling is worth it (you never know exactly whether the people watching the turtles or vice versa ...), but the very curious animals may well of country are observed from.
