Parque da Corcovada is a development of luxurious apartments and villas in the heart of Albufeira, with all possible facilities and amenities on its doorstep. This luxury top floor apartment is spacious and comfortable, furnished to a very high standard to make your stay as pleasant as possible. A 30mSq veranda with sea views overlooks the pool area. The large living area is furnished for comfort having soft suede sofa’s to relax on, with Freeview TV, DVD or a IPOD/CD player for your entertainment. The separate kitchen area is fully equipped with all amenities. There are 2 bathrooms in the apartment, the master en-suite bathroom with shower over bath, the other a refreshing shower room. The two bedrooms both have large fitted wardrobes, the main bedroom with a King size bed has its own private balcony; the second bedroom has two single beds and there is also a sofa bed available should it be required. There is lift access to the apartment, the apartment also benefits from underground parking. Families are well catered for with a cot and highchair available. Fantastic Holiday

Paul was fantastic help and gave us all the neccessary information plus loads more. Transfer arrranged for us was great and drivers were lovely and friendly. The apartment was absolutely perfect i couldnt of asked for better and was well worth the money. The area the apartment was located was lovely and quiet and only 5 mins from the main stripe which was good. We went on the train to the old town (i do not recommend) cost 4euros pp for a return and a taxi costs the same which is probably safer. Was a really enjoyable holiday and would defintaley recommend the apartment to anyone i know. I would mention though that there is quite abit of walking involved and some steep hills which some people may struggle with, but o stayed in our apartment by the pool and it was fantastic.

Great apartment

Very large, beautifully clean well maintained on a nice clean quiet complex. Nice pool with room for everyone, enough loungers to go round but could do with a few more parasols. Thre's a couple of small supermarkets close by and a few bars as well. The 'Strip' is about a 10 minute walk away, the Old town is somewhat further. [we did both on alternate nights] Cab fare back from Old town was usually about 6 euros.The main road outside the complex can get a little busy, but it's a very small price to pay for such a great holiday base. We'd definately recommend this apartment to family and friends.

A great apartment - highly recommend

This is a lovely apartment, tastefully and neutrally furnished and decorated and finished to a high spec. Solid furniture - nothing flimsy!

We slept so well here due to the black-out shutters!

The apartment is spacious - I would just say that whilst there is plenty of living space - with a very large kitchen, and roomy hall and bathroom, plus a large main bedroom - it would not suit two couples sharing as the second couple would presumably want to sleep on the sofa bed in the living area rather than in the second bedroom (which has a single bed with pull out truckle bed). For a family sharing that would not be an issue. For the two of us alone, there was a lot of space, and that was lovely.

There are 3 balconies which adds to the airiness of the place.

The grounds are realy well kept and clean. There are several pools within the development - apparently this block has less people per pool than the other blocks - but in April it was very quiet anyway!

Location wise, it was ideal for us. We could walk along to The Strip within about 5 minutes (although the better restaurants are actually closer to hand) and to the beach at Praia d'Oura within about 15 minutes. That beach is lovely, and with great beachside cafes and restaurants, serving excellent food, keenly priced (much better than than the restaurants along The Strip).

Albufeira and its main beach is about a 20 minutes walk, but there is a town "train" type bus which picks up from The Strip and goes to Albufeira and back - a one day pass costs 4 euros.

The on site cafe/restaurant, Roberto's - is well worth a stop. The owner is a South African chap who is really helpful and makes the most amazing pizza!

There is a tour company office, Sugar Travel, at the front block and we arranged a couple of tours through them - this was effortless - we were picked up from the development and dropped back there afterwards. Cannot recommend enough the historic Algarve trip (Silves/Monchique/Sagres/Cape St Vincent/Lagos) and also the catamaran trip along the coast with barbecue on the beach and a dinghy trip around the grottoes. The cost was about 35 euros each - with discounts for cash.

The owner, Paul, was really helpful. We were really impressed with the airport transfers, which were included in the price, and the pre-trip information.

We will recommend to everyone looking to travel to this area, and will return ourselves.

Excellent Apartment - Highly Recommended

If, like me, you like the look of the Parque Da Corcovada complex you will have read several reviews for several properties all saying basically the same thing – the apartments are clean, modern, spacious, ideal location etc. I can confirm that this is all true.

We stayed in this apartment in August 2012, and like most people, declare that these are the best kept and equipped apartment complex we have ever stayed in.

All apartments are very similar but what got my attention to Paul’s apartment was his understanding of what really matters when planning a holiday. In the past we have been in a situation where we have arrived on location and have had to wait several hours before being able to check-in to an apartment, this isn’t the case with Paul. The apartment is available at any time on the day of arrival and yours till 3 hours before your departure flight; to make it even easier, Paul will also arrange your airport transfer – free! Our flight arrived in Faro at 9.30am and our transfer was waiting for us in arrivals, we were checked in and by the pool by 11.00am, I haven’t seen this available in any other property on the complex – most will not allow check in till 3.00pm.

Like I said the apartment is great, the air conditioning is fab and the electronic shutters work a treat in keeping out the heat and sunlight for those who want a little extra 40 winks on their hols. Sky TV allows you to keep up to date with news and soaps with the usual array of free to view channels available. The kitchen is great with all the mods cons but to be honest there are so many places to eat and all very competitively priced we ate out every night. We preferred the old town to ‘the strip’ and at only 5 euro for 3 people by taxi, well worth it.

The whole complex is made up of several blocks each with its own designated pool; the pool for Blocks 36 and 37 has the sun from first light till around 4.00pm. There are sunbeds available but reserving beds by placing towels first thing in the morning isn’t tolerated, the gentleman responsible for the pool maintenance will remove any towels used to reserve beds.

So all-in-all a fantastic facility with great service at a good price, we have already booked again for summer 2013. The only thing I would have on my wish list in this day and age would be internet access, traveling with a teenage son and no internet access is a challenge and I would gladly pay extra for the facility.

What a top quality Apartment !!!!!!!

My family have just returned to Ireland after spending 2 weeks in this property. The apartment is just beautiful with everything a family would need . Its location is perfect for a quiet , secure , stress free holiday , but yet if something more lively is required then " The Strip " is only a few minutes walk away .... The old town is a €5 taxi trip and the beach is a 15 minute walk. There are some lovely restaurants on the Santa Eulalia strip and a great Indian Restaurant The Clay Oven only a short walk away.
Paul could not have been more helpful and we plan to return soon.
I would highly recommend a stay in this high spec apartment !!!!!

Albufeira, Portugal's most popular resort, has been described as the “Tourist Capital” of the Algarve, spreading from the old town both east and west along the coast, its sandy coves and golden beaches drawing an assorted crowd, from families with young kids to retired couples.
