140 sq.m. new built villa in a picturesque village in South Crete , ideal for big families or even 2 families, or even onegroup. It s modern inside with kithcen fully equipped .dish washer .washing machine , tv, hi fi stereo, bathroom with big bath tub and 1 wc.It s built in 2 floors

.Upstairs is the main door and a big garage which leads directly to the living room with the kitchen and a wc There is a big corner sofa and the tv ,a modern fireplace , big table for 8 people and big balcony doors with panoramic view and a bg balcony looks like hanging in the air.

Downstairsare the 3 bedrooms.1 with double bed ,1 with 2 single beds and 1 bigger with 2 bunk beds for 4 persons and also the spacy bathroom ..Around there is a big balcony which leads to the swimming pool and a 80 sqm veranda with nature stones.with a big table and benches for 8 people. 1 small bbq available.The swimming pool is 1,70 m and 40sqm.and is attached to the house.It is built in a quiiet spot in the village,bc

The village and around: Kamilari is a beautiful picturesque ,traditional village situated on a hill with panoramic view in the Messara valley.It s blessed with sunny weather all year around and excellent clima. The nature is still unspoiled and in general is an easy going place.

It s ideal for relaxed quite holidays.

The sandy unspoiled beaches around of Kalamaki (1,5), Komo (3)and Matala(5) are in a short distance .

The village has 4 restaurants with delicious cretan food and one pizzeria, 2 mini markets,4 cafes and 2 boutiques with hand made goods.There is also a small playground in the plaza .

There are two important archeological sites in walking distance ,Festos 2km and Matala caves 5km.

In Matala there are several night bars from May -November.

The area is ideal for walking ,swimming and mountain hike.

Most people who visit the village come back .

Kamilari is a traditional small village in South Crete.

It is situated on a hill ,150 m. above sea level and very close to the sea and access to many beautiful beaches around like Komos, Kalamaki, Matala. The archaelogical site of Phaestos is only 2km from there. There is a charming aetmosphere of a typical cretan village with several tavernas with very good food, friendly people and beautiful walking possibilities.

This wonderfully situated Villa is of modern design and contains all the amenities of home - but with added pool and views of 8000 ft snow-capped mountains. We were met in the village by Thomas (Aggeliki's husband) who took us straight to the villa and showed us round. Such genuinely kind and welcoming people they were at the end of the phone for any queries we had day or night.The village is typically Greek and the local population are friendly and eager to please. Kamilari is self-sufficient with tavernas and cafes. If the local supermarket didn't have what you required on the shelf a quiet word to the owner and Hey Presto it was there waiting for you the next day!
The property was beautifully clean and well-maintained.We travelled by hire car from the airport and this was a useful addition to visit historic sites and the beach/fish restaurants 3 km away.
The villa is probably not ideal for young children or those with mobility issues.
We had the most relaxing holiday of our lives at Villa Agapi and will definately be returning next year.
