Spacious two bed, two bath zone 2 flat. Wif, balcony, terrace!

This gorgeous converted warehouse flat in a cobbled street five mins stroll from the new Wapping tube boasts great living space (especially in London terms) plus a large West-facing private balcony and also the use of a stunning huge riverside terrace. Both bedrooms are extremely spacious with large beds and big fitted wardrobes. The master bedroom has a Juliette balcony and an en-suite with bath, loo and basin. Bedroom two has its own bathroom with shower, loo and basin. Both bathrooms come equipped with heated towel rails, top-class towels - and lots of shelf space!

The spacious living room has three sofas, a chair, TV, radio and a large designer solid cherry wood dining table with eight chairs overlooking the balcony which has a solid oak Yask table and benches to seat eight and views of Shadwell Basin. The kitchen is fully-fitted with washer/dryer, dishwasher, waste disposal, oven, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee maker etc. Everything is provided for your comfort.

The flat is on the fourth floor with reliable lift so is suitable for older guests and those with children. As the building is old the flat does not have modern facilities for disabled guests although we have had a lady in a wheelchair stay very successfully.

Accommodation is was great! The accommodation is very well structured, new, clean and very welcoming. There is everything you need. The neighborhood in which it is located is very quiet and the metro station is nearby and accessible. Recommended accommodation for familie with a large kitchen equipped with everything you need for cooking. The accommodation is situated in zone 2 of the tube and is very well located for easy access to central London. Very highly recommended and many many thanks to all Elizabeth it!.

Family Memories Created Here!

Our trip to London included 3 generations of my family and the flat accommodated all 7 people nicely, meeting the needs of the teenagers and the adults as well. There was plenty of room for everyone to rest and recuperate after days spent touring the city and beyond.

The flat was sparkling clean and had everything that any guest would need to provide the necessities of travel that create the foundation of a wonderful travel experience.

We made full use of the complimentary Oyster Cards for travel and used both the Tube Station and the 100 bus frequently to travel into the heart of the city and on a couple days to train stations to go outside of the city to Bath and Stonehenge.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make quick snacks or full meals. My sons surprised us one evening with a wonderful meal that was served on the balcony at the table that easily accommodated all seven of us. What a wonderful evening it was.

Elizabeth was so helpful from the first moment of booking through the entire process. When we arrived at the flat and found that the plug adapters that we needed were not there, the housekeeper Anna was still in the flat and we asked her about them. She wasn't sure about the location and we assumed that we would just go buy some. She communicated our questions to Elizabeth though we didn't ask her to do so and Elizabeth made sure that some adapter plugs were dropped off for our use.

The car service from the airport was an essential service and Elizabeth helped us by booking a return service to the airport for our departure.

The location of the flat, while still in the City of London, felt like it was in a quiet village. The evenings were cool and calm and the neighborhood felt safe and cozy. We took several walks around Wapping to just enjoy the wonderful atmosphere that you felt there.

I think that we tried most of the restaurants in the immediate area beginning with the pub across the street, the chinese restaurant, a pizza restaurant and the italian restaurant along Wapping Wall. All of the restaurants were very good with no complaints at all.

All things considered our stay in the flat was the foundation of a perfect vacation for my family. Thanks to Elizabeth, Anna and everyone who had a part in our adventures.

Fantastic apartment in great location in London

What can I say about this apartment apart from the fact that it was fantastic. Beautifully furnished, clean and comfortable. A perfect base for my family of 7 that stayed here for 4 nights. So close to London and great places to eat. It was great to have somewhere to return to at the end of the day that felt like home. Thoroughly recommend it and would definitely stay there again if ever in London. Thanks to Elizabeth for always keeping us informed and checking we were ok.

Perfect!

This is a great flat at reasonable price. I’m embarrassed that it has taken me so long to get this review in but even a year later I am still extremely impressed with this rental. The flat is large and easily accommodated my four adult family members. This stay was part of a longer Europe tour that included Rome and Paris. We stayed in apts in those cities as well and even paid more for one of them but the London rental was by far the family favorite.
This was my first trip to Europe and I was nervous and full of questions. Elizabeth answered every one in gracious detail. She made the whole process painless. Elizabeth even set up a pick service for arrival and departure. We were very impressed.
Aside from the cleanliness and comfortable beds, there were other features we really liked. The outdoor balcony, guidebooks/maps available to borrow, board games and movies to pop in the dvr made the stay an extra treat. There is a pub almost right across the street and the subway (tube) transportation is just a five minute walk away. This flat is not located in the main hub of London but we found that we liked that. It was just a quick tube ride to get to the hustle and bustle and at night we enjoyed this quiet neighborhood.
I would not hesitate to stay here again. In fact I would seek this rental out should I find myself heading to London again in the future.

Excellent is an understatement!

The most lovely apartment!
My parents, brother & myself stayed here for a couple of days whilst visiting London. The service we received from Elizabeth was first class, from organising cars to collect us from the station to the numerous gudies, maps & even oyster cards at the apartment.
The apartment is very spacious, huge bedrooms with really comfy beds and an enormous beautifully furnished lounge.
I would highly recomend this apartment for visits to London & thank you so much Elizabeth for all your assistance during our stay - our family will always be very grateful.

  • There are two very large bedrooms; both with beautiful Heals beds, one superking (6') and one king (5') size. In each room there is a storabed, one Relyon and one Ecofurn both with immaculate top-quality mattresses. This means that each bedroom can sleep between two and four and we have photos of the bedrooms with all the beds in place and can email these on request. In the first bedroom there is plenty of room for three beds but the second bedroom is not as spacious so there is not much room left. However, there is plenty of room in the rest of the flat, balcony, communal terrace and London! There is also a double sofabed in the living room so we can sleep eight people comfortably and ten at a push. However, because there are only two bathrooms and because of the nature of the apartment block (quiet and residential - we are the only holiday let) we feel that the maximum occupancy is only really suitable for a family party. We, generally, cannot accept large parties of adults.

Unlike many other holiday lets we include everything in the price; taxes, gas, electricity, water, porter, wifi, use of the communal riverside terrace and even parking permits for onstreet parking (NB these have to be changed at lunchtime every day though as they only last for five hours. If you would prefer secure parking under the building this is available at £12 per day). Also included are highest quality bed linen and towels, tea, milk and all products including dishwasher tablets, laundry powder, toilet tissue and soap. We arrange cabs with a local, trusted firm who give us a discounted rate and also provide Oyster (uploadable travel) cards to save you having to pay the non-refundable initial payment on them. We also provide a UK mobile phone with some credit (but can add more before your arrival at your request) to enable you to telephone at much cheaper rates than using foreign mobiles. This also provides a way for you to contact us free-of-charge-to-you if necessary.
