Spacious two bed, two bath zone 2 flat. Wif, balcony, terrace!

This gorgeous converted warehouse flat in a cobbled street five mins stroll from the new Wapping tube boasts great living space (especially in London terms) plus a large West-facing private balcony and also the use of a stunning huge riverside terrace. Both bedrooms are extremely spacious with large beds and big fitted wardrobes. The master bedroom has a Juliette balcony and an en-suite with bath, loo and basin. Bedroom two has its own bathroom with shower, loo and basin. Both bathrooms come equipped with heated towel rails, top-class towels - and lots of shelf space!

The spacious living room has three sofas, a chair, TV, radio and a large designer solid cherry wood dining table with eight chairs overlooking the balcony which has a solid oak Yask table and benches to seat eight and views of Shadwell Basin. The kitchen is fully-fitted with washer/dryer, dishwasher, waste disposal, oven, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee maker etc. Everything is provided for your comfort.

The flat is on the fourth floor with reliable lift so is suitable for older guests and those with children. As the building is old the flat does not have modern facilities for disabled guests although we have had a lady in a wheelchair stay very successfully.

We love staying at 'secret London' apartment when we visit the capital. It's always clean, comfortable and welcoming. Everything you need is available. Five of us stayed this time and there's still plenty of room. It's a lovely place to return after a busy day in the city. With the tube station just down the road, getting around is so easy. We even walked this time to Tower Bridge. We made use of the local pub, the food was great, also the Chinese and Indian restaurants just round the corner are superb. Elizabeth is lovely, she is so helpful from start to finish and is always on hand to help. We will certainly be back again. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Wow! Where to start really....The apartment was absolutely fabulous, looked good on the pics but even better in real life they really have thought of everything & loved all the little London touches, Christmas tree, treats and basics.
We used the Oyster cards provided, a lot, and once we got our heads round it the Tube is a fantastic, efficient way of getting around London. Despite the weather being truly awful for most of our stay (but, we're from Yorkshire, we can handle it haha), we still managed to do most of the things we wanted to do, we spent quite a bit of time in the apartment keeping ourselves entertained with all the games, DVD's etc provided. The information provided was amazing & came in very handy. We spent New Years Eve on a boat trip which all ran smoothly and managed to jump on the Tube home so no hassle at all. So impressed we are trying to work out when we can come for another visit in the Summer.
Huge thanks to Elizabeth and Ottilie for our fabulous holiday, cannot wait to come back.

We have rented several flats over the years and this was the best. The photos are accurate and still do not do it justice. It was immaculately clean. The kitchen is well stocked and has a washer/dryer. From the beginning, Elizabeth provides information and service that is outstanding. She is extremely prompt in responding to all questions (and patient). The flat is very large, plenty of room for 6 people. There are doors that separate the living area from bedrooms so that you can visit and talk and not disturb those sleeping. The British decorations are a very nice touch, feels very welcoming. The beds are very comfortable and the bedding and towels are top notch. Oyster cards are provided and a ride/driver from the airport.
We loved the Pub across the street, the Italian restaurant a few doors up the road, and the local markets were very convenient. We used the tube everyday and went all over London doing the tourist sites. We also went to Windsor, again, easy from the flat. Again, this is the best flat we have ever rented and Elizabeth was a huge part of it and Ottilie's decorating and touches were perfect. Anne does a fabulous job on the housecleaning - we just loved it and can't wait to go back.

The stay at this rental accommodation was some of the best money I have ever spent.

The flat itself was absolutely gorgeous, immaculately kept and thoughtfully stocked with everything a London visitor would ever possibly need during their stay.

Elizabeth herself kept us well informed and was so friendly and helpful despite my barrage of questions prior to our visit..!

I cannot recommend this property enough and will definitely be returning, as will the friends that I went with. If you're even just considering -book it, you will not be disappointed!

Congratulations! You have just found the perfect London apartment. Our family of 2 adults, 2 children aged 12 & 15 was very comfortable for 8 nights in this extremely spacious, clean and well appointed property located in a secure residential building, with a lift. Bedroom 1 has a comfortable king sized bed and a single, with an extra underbed mattress which could be very easily accommodated in the huge room, and ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and a single with another underbed mattress, with a bathroom next to it. There is a large lounge and dining area with a balcony/terrace. It is well equipped, with plenty of books and games, and Oyster cards for public transport, which can be loaded at the nearby Wapping station. The location in historic Wapping makes it ideal for seeing the sights and getting around, as well as having a great village vibe. The Prospect of Whitby is a fabulous pub close by, and there are several restaurants within easy walking distance. Waitrose's is accessible by bus if you have lots to carry, but is also within walking distance. All contact was made with Elizabeth, who was an absolute pleasure and delight to deal with. I couldn't recommend this property more highly.

  • There are two very large bedrooms; both with beautiful Heals beds, one superking (6') and one king (5') size. In each room there is a storabed, one Relyon and one Ecofurn both with immaculate top-quality mattresses. This means that each bedroom can sleep between two and four and we have photos of the bedrooms with all the beds in place and can email these on request. In the first bedroom there is plenty of room for three beds but the second bedroom is not as spacious so there is not much room left. However, there is plenty of room in the rest of the flat, balcony, communal terrace and London! There is also a double sofabed in the living room so we can sleep eight people comfortably and ten at a push. However, because there are only two bathrooms and because of the nature of the apartment block (quiet and residential - we are the only holiday let) we feel that the maximum occupancy is only really suitable for a family party. We, generally, cannot accept large parties of adults.

Unlike many other holiday lets we include everything in the price; taxes, gas, electricity, water, porter, wifi, use of the communal riverside terrace and even parking permits for onstreet parking (NB these have to be changed at lunchtime every day though as they only last for five hours. If you would prefer secure parking under the building this is available at £12 per day). Also included are highest quality bed linen and towels, tea, milk and all products including dishwasher tablets, laundry powder, toilet tissue and soap. We arrange cabs with a local, trusted firm who give us a discounted rate and also provide Oyster (uploadable travel) cards to save you having to pay the non-refundable initial payment on them. We also provide a UK mobile phone with some credit (but can add more before your arrival at your request) to enable you to telephone at much cheaper rates than using foreign mobiles. This also provides a way for you to contact us free-of-charge-to-you if necessary.
