About Mr Chris Weaver

We reside on the premises at Sticklinch Farm and have lived in Somerset for over 8 years. Our married daughter, Anna, lives nearby in Wells with our three grandchildren. We have two sons - Andrew, married and completing his GP training and Robert, a doctor in Bristol but currently house sitting in Italy. Chris works from home for a global IT company and Jan still keeps her hand in as a Practice Nurse at a local GP surgery.

We enjoy the relaxed lifestyle in Somerset and have developed the 4 acre plot to accommodate our growing number of small farm animals. Our paddock extends at the rear up towards West Pennard Hill. Our flock of sheep are very friendly and will allow you to tickle their chins with a little help from some sheep nuts! We have Hampshire Downs, Suffolk and Dorset varieties which last year (2013) produced 7 lambs between them including 3 sets of twins! Also around the small holding are three pigmy goats including Cecil who came third in his class at the Bath & West Show this year. We also have a new baby goat called Ethel. We have a variety of hens and ducks producing fresh eggs. You could also try goose eggs from our Pilgrim geese. We own two friendly Border Collies called Lulu and Peter and some gorgeous looking cats.

Mr Chris Weaver purchased this cottage in 2005

Why Mr Chris Weaver chose Glastonbury

Having lived previously near London, we often talked about escaping to the country and in 2005 , we did it! Somerset is so laid back and friendly but we can still catch a train and get to London to enjoy concerts. Bristol and Bath are also cultural centers nearby.

What makes this cottage unique

Where else can you sit out in a hot tub under a clear sky and gaze at the stars without any light pollution !
