Spacious 3 bedroomed lower ground floor beach side apartment

Spacious 3 bedroomed lower ground floor apartment situated within the Walmer Conservation Area directly on Deal's most celebrated road, The Beach. Direct access to Walmer Green and the beach beyond. Go to Google Streetview and type in post code: CT14 7HE and you will see how close these beautiful houses are to the beach opposite. Free and easy parking to the front and rear of the property. Ideally situated for the beach, as well as the many pubs, bars and restaurants Deal has to offer. Great area for golf, fishing, walking and sight seeing. Only a 15 minute drive to Royal St Georges Golf Club, where The Open Golf Championship was held in July 2011. The City of Canterbury is a 30 minute drive. Saturday to Saturday bookings preferred.

This apartment enjoys a great position on The Beach at Walmer. Access is available both to the front and rear of the property. The property was extensively refurbished in Summer 2007 with a new fitted kitchen and bathroom, new wood flooring and new carpets. The apartment is redecorated every 12 to 18 months. New double glazed front and rear doors were fitted in October 2011 and a new gas central heating boiler was fitted in April 2012. The flat also has double glazed windows. There are 3 separate bedrooms. The Master bedroom has a double bed together with a range of fitted wall and floor cupboards. The second bedroom leads directly from the Master bedroom and consists of two solid pine single bunkbeds together with fitted wardrobes. The third bedroom leads off from the dining hall and has a double bed and four drawer cupboard. The living room is light and airy with 2 leather sofa's, 37' flat screen TV with Freeview, a DVD player, an iPoD docking station, reference books and board games. NEW from 2013 free unlimited downloads WiFI is available for all our guests (the key code is available on the WiFi box in the flat). Plus a telephone is available for incoming calls and or making local and UK calls (international calls and calls to mobiles cannot be made).

Married 6 years been together for eleven years. Our mothers both live in Deal and we visit them so many times each year we thought we'd buy a place of our own to use as a holiday home and as a holiday let.

Mr Chris Byrne purchased this apartment in 2007

We bought this property due to its great location opposite the beach and being close to town but quiet at the same time. It's great for family BBQs on the beach opposite and great for impromptu sports games on the green opposite the flat as well.

We love Deal, our mothers both live here and I spent many holidays here when I was young. I introduced my wife to Deal in 2003 and we've always loved it since!! We live just north of London but try and visit Deal as much as we can during the year.

Lovely Seaside Holiday

The apartment is located in an ideal place, everything within walking distance and quite centrally located for days out in the car. The apartment is very clean and despite being in the basement is bright.
We were met on arrival by the caretaker and her 'little assistant' and shown round the property which was great, very informative. We did have an issue with the bed, but the owners and the caretaker were responsive to situation, fortunately there were sufficent beds in the property. Parking is free and just outside the property - we found it easy to park.
Kings Head in Deal was good for food and drinks. The Stag in Walmer is good for a drink, and the local fish and chip shop in Walmer is excellent.

Everything on the doorstep

We stayed in the appartment twice last year and return this autumn again.Although in the basement it is bright and shiny and superbly eqipped,the waterfront is just opposite and Deal with every shop needed is within walking distance.You don´t need the car much only to explore more of this lovely part of coastal Kent.We are a family from Germany with 3 children and all of us were very pleased and will certainly visit again and again.

Sehr gut ausgestattete Fewo

Sehr hübsche Souterrain-Wohnung dennoch hell und gemütlich eingerichtet. Entspricht der Beschreibund völlig und ist sehr gut ausgestattet (große Küche mit reichlich Inventar, in der nichts fehlt). Sehenswürdigkeiten, wie Dover, Deal und Walmer Castle aber auch Canterbury oder Folkstone sind gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Unbedingt zu empfehlen sind Klippenspaziergänge am St. Margaret´s Cliffe bis zum Leuchtturm und "The Pines Garden".
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten bietet Deal mit einigen Supermärkten genug, Fish and Chips gibts an der Strandpromenade. Diese ist kilometerlang und lädt zum spazierengehen, joggen und radfahren ein.
Sehr günstig ist ebenfalls, daß die Dame, die für die Schlüsselübergabe und die übrigen Belange zuständig ist im Haus wohnt, jederzeit erreichbar ist und uns sehr nett bei allen Fragen weiterhelfen konnte (vielen Dank nochmals).
Wir waren zu viert mit Hund in der Wohnung. Unsere Kinder sind im Teenager-Alter. Es hat uns allen sehr gefallen und wir würden die Wohnung jederzeit wieder mieten.

nous avons passé un séjour très très agréable dans cette ville balnéaire et l'appartement nous a beaucoup plu. Tout est fait pour que l'on se sente bien chez soi. Notre premier Noël à l'étranger était réussi et le temps était avec nous. Il y a vraiment tout sur place et avons beaucoup marché. Dommage que nous n'avions pas de vélos. Nous avons l'intention de revenir mais cette fois-ci avec nos vélos. Car il y a beaucoup de choses à visiter et les anglais sont charmants et accueillants.
N'hésitez pas à louer cet appartement, vous ne serez pas déçus et c'est très calme!.

Explore the beautiful Kentish coastline with its stunning scenery and historical buildings and landmarks. Deal was once a smugglers' paradise. Wander through the Conservation areas or walk to the end of Deal Pier and look back at the splendid historical buildings on the seafront. It's quite a view! Walmer and Deal Castle's are both within walking distance. There are many local attractions to visit in Deal and surrounding areas. For lovers of golf, Royal St Georges Golf Club, Sandwich, which hosted the British Open in 2011 is less than eight miles away, together with Princes Golf Club Sandwich. The Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club at Deal and the Walmer and Kingsdown Golf Club are both only three miles from the apartment. For the non-professionals, both mini and crazy golf is available on Walmer Green adjacent to the Childrens' paddling pool.

For the outdoor types, there are many organised walks in the local area, including along the famous White Cliffs.
