This spacious luxury 1 bedroom ground floor air-conditioned apartment with private parking has fantastic coastline, sea and hill views and is part of a small complex which has a communal swimming pool with toilets and changing facilities and landscaped gardens. It is situated on the hillside in the attractive village of Chlorakas and is in an ideal location for a couple looking for a peaceful base to explore the wonderful island of Cyprus, although it is only 5 minutes by car to Paphos and within 15 minutes walking distance to the popular Tombs of the Kings Road area. There are small beaches in the area of Chlorakas or it takes 10 minutes by car or bus to the larger beaches at Coral Bay. Spend lazy days relaxing by the pool and enjoying the spectacular sunsets in the evening from the patio with a glass of wine. Supermarkets, small bars and a variety of restaurants are available in the village.
This well appointed ground floor apartment has the privacy and outside space of an individual property or as a guest said 'it seems like your own little villa!' The apartment has been decorated and furnished to a high specification with a fully fitted kitchen, all necessary appliances and utensils and dining area with table and chairs. For guests who like to take their own music there is an I-pod Hi-Fi with music CD's available. Flat screen satellite TV on the wall and a choice of film DVD's The lounge is spacious with patio doors leading outside to a covered patio area with table and chairs. This area provides a relaxing respite from the sun in the height of summer so you can be lounging in the sun in the spacious garden area one minute and in the shade the next or enjoying the swimming pool which is just a few steps away.
The large airy bedroom has twin beds, fitted wardrobes providing plenty of storage space, dressing table and chair and a full length dressing mirror.
Patio doors lead out to a further patio area. There is a spacious fully tiled bathroom with a double walk in shower. To the side of the property there is a private parking area and a large garden shed which could be used for storage of sports equipment (click on additional photos in the property advert).
We would recommend car hire if you are elderly or not easily mobile as the apartment is situated on a hillside, buses can be accessed by walking down to the Tombs of the Kings Road (15minutes) to both Paphos town and Coral Bay.
It was realy wonderful. We have rented several houses during the last uears, but this was realy the most beautiful house we have rented.
The only problem i have had is finding the appartment in the evening. We arrived around 10. Pm and it was realy hard to find our way through pafos based on your description. The day before i had studied google maps on surrounding and without this study it would have become very difficult to find it. The other point is that there was no light at arrival and so we have been looking around for about 15 minutes to find the locker, then we were missing light to find the right number in the locker. In the end we used a mobile phone as lightner to select the right numbers. But once we entered the app we were impressed and that impresiion remained the whole week.
Chlorakas is an attractive Cypriot village with a variety of shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants available. Paphos has many attractions including the harbour and has been designated a World Heritage Centre. Visit the archaeological sites, go walking on the many trails in the Arkamas pennisula or explore the spectacular Troodos mountains by car. For the sports enthusiasts there are 3 championship golf courses, windsurfing, water ski-ing, horseriding, paragliding and of course swimming. Day trips to Egypt and other activities can be arranged by local tour companies. If all you wish to do is laze around in the sun there are a plentiful supply of beaches in the area.
