ANTIBES, overlooking the port; marvellous view, walking distance to beach and old town. In a residence with guardian. Comfortable 2,5 rooms apartment of 40m2, might sleep up to 5 persons. Bedroom with double bed (140cm), living room with 140cm bed sofa, furnished hallway with top bed with functional workspace.

Modern kitchen with trad oven, microwave oven .Bathroom with washing machine. Separate WC. Living room with dinner table 4 persons, Terrace with seating.

Locked secure garage.

Optimal central location close to everything. Terrace. Modern furniture. No insight, pleasant surroundings, marvellous panoramic sea view. 1min from train/buses to Cannes, Nice, Monaco, Sophia Antipolis,/airport bus. Skiresorts easily reachable; Isola 2000 & Auron.

If a rainy day would come; a big flat screen, selected books and some films to the home cinema equipment are at place.

Rental includes all charges (like bed linen, towels, electricity, water, aircond ) usage of a.o. PC & Internet (Ethernet cable & wifi) Free telephony to fix lines in most parts of the world , Europe, USA & Canada.

There are marvelous beaches (many!) just a few hundred meters away, both sand - and pebble-stone beaches. If pools are wished: the piscine municipal (3 outdoor pools surrounded with grass and palm trees and indoor pool) is just a few hundred meters away.

Perfect apartment for exploring Antibes

We stayed here for a week in early April and can highly recommend it. It is really easy to get to, just across the road from Antibes Railway station (where the 250 bus from Nice airport stops) - ideal if you are travelling with bags. The apartment is in a small secure development and has a fabulous outlook onto Port Vauban with its yachts and with a little view of the Alps to the West. It is very quiet.

The apartment itself was very clean and had all that we needed for a week. There is a small galley-type kitchen area with fridge, modern cooker&hob, microwave, coffee machine etc. Good quality kitchen. We cooked in a couple of evenings and everything was there that we needed. There is a decent sized living room, with space for a dining table and sofa, large flat-screen TV. There are only a couple of English speaking news channels - most of the channels are of course French. There is a hi-fi for music which was very useful. The only thing we would have liked that wasn't available is a DVD player and some movies, for those nights when we just wanted to chill.

Both the living area and the main bedroom open up onto the balcony - just enough room for a table and 4 chairs. It gets the early morning sun (in April) which is nice and then is in shade for the rest of the day, which I think is probably ideal as you don't get the full heat of the sun during the day.

The apartment is very well designed, with lots of built-in cupboards and storage. The bedroom is fairly small, with one side of the bed against the wall. Great built-in hanging storage for clothes and under the bed lots of spare bedding, beach towels etc. The bed itself was OK, a good height off the ground but the mattress was a little soft for our liking.

Just inside the door is a double bunk bed - our daughter claimed the top bunk as her 'den' for the week and liked to chill up there in the evenings. There is a curtain across the bunk beds for privacy.

Location-wise the apartment is perfect. About a 10 minute level walk into town, either past the yachts or through the back streets.

The owner Sten is really good to deal with, has excellent English and we had great communication with him before and after our stay. His representative met us as pre-arranged - although we had to change the time due to flight delays but this wasn't a problem. Overall this was an excellent apartment for a week in Antibes and we would certainly stay here again if/when returning to Antibes

I just HAVE to clarify; There IS a of course a DVD player in the home cinema equipment but then the "TV source" has to be changed from "AV1 to AV2" just as instructed in the "home-instruction folder" on the Tv Desk..... all the best!

Appartement très agréable :

Vue superbe sur le Port , le Fort Carré et en Février les montagnes enneigées

Accès à pied facile vers le vieil Antibes, les commerçants dont le Marché Provençal

La gare est à 100 mètres sans aucune nuisance sonore on peut par le TER se rendre facilement par exemple à Monaco

En voiture on sort du parking et on accède à la route du bord de mer qui mène aisément à Cagnes et Nice notamment.

Le propriétaire Mr Carlsberg est fort aimable , répondant rapidement aux éventuelles questions que l’on peut se poser

Si nous revenons à Antibes , ce sera dans cet appartement

Appartement impéccable seul bémol l'orientation

Appartement tout confort , le plus le garage en s/s et le high tech complet par contre sur l'annonce est précisé EST / SUD alors qu'il est plus E/N/E c'est préjudiciable en hiver ou printemps on ne peut profiter de du balcon .

Very good stay in a nice place, the apartment is well located near the station it's good for the visits because we didn't have our car. The residence is calm et secured. We really enjoyed the city and the location. We would like to come another time with pleasure.

Highly recommend this apartment in Antibes overlooking Port Vauban. Beautiful location, very convenient close to rail and bus stations and a short picturesque walk into Antibes. Many restaurants, mini-marts close by. Never got tired of the view.
