Luxury converted chapel

Capel Bethel was converted in 2006 into a modern property over three floors. It is situated in the small village of Trawsfynydd within the Snowdonia National Park. There is an open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room, mezzanine sitting room with wood burner, six bedrooms, one with en-suite and two additional bathrooms with whirlpool baths. There is off-road parking for 3 cars and garden area with views of the surrounding mountains.

Capel Bethel was last used as a Chapel in 1982 and had been unused and unloved until 2005 when we started the conversion which was completed early in 2006.

It is a fantastic property over three floors and offers spacious and flexible accommodation for families. The Chapel has been designed to be child-friendly - a high chair and travel cot are available as well as stair gates and a selection of toys - no need to bring your own.

Ground floor: open plan kitchen/living/dining room with seating at the table for 12, bathroom with whirlpool bath and separate shower, two bedrooms - one double and one twin bedroom.

Mezzanine floor: living room with wood burner, TV and DVD player, cloakroom, bedroom with bunk beds.

Top floor: three bedrooms - one family room with double bed and single bed with additional pull-out single bed, one single room and one double with en-suite shower room, Family Bathroom with corner whirlpool bath and separate shower.

Trawsfynydd is situated in the Snowdonia National Park and is within easy driving distance of Porthmadog, Portmerion Italianate Village, Ffestiniog Railway, Llechwedd Slate Caverns and Harlech Castle. The beaches at Cardigan Bay and the Lleyn Penisula are nearby.

There are a selection of shops and pub which also serves food within the village.

Nearest Airport : Manchester at 100 Miles
Car: necessary

Within 15 min drive are the towns of Dolgellau and Porthmadog, the Ffestiniog Mountain Railway, Portmerion Italianate Village, Llechwedd Slate Mine, Coed-y-Brenin Mountain Biking Center and forest walks.

Within 30 min drive are the seaside resort of Barmouth, Harlech with its castle and the White Water Rafting Center near Bala.

The fantastic beaches of Cardigan Bay and the LLeyn Penisula are within easy driving distance.

Swimming pools can be found at Porthmadog, Bala and Harlech.
