'La Maison Fleurie' is a large village farmhouse, in the picturesque village of Latoue with most of its original character still intact. Sleeps 12+ Situated midway between the market towns of Aurignac and St. Gaudens

La Maison Fleurie, has lots of oak beams and a large open fire in dining room and wood burners in lounge and kitchen. Situated on 3 floors, with lounge, dining room, large kitchen/diner, 5 double bedrooms [one with shower and hand basin] and a single bedroom curently fitted out as a nursury but the cot can be replaced with a single bed, 2 large bathrooms [one on 1st floor and the 2nd on top floor], both with double sinks. There is a separate shower room on the 1st floor. Toilet with hand basin on ground floor

Our 10 x 5 metre swimming pool with a large beach area on all four sides, is open between April and October. It is cleaned regulary.

The small sleepy village of Latoue is ideally situated midway between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean coasts, giving easy access to the historic cities of Toulouse, Carcassonne and Albi to the east; Lourdes, Pau and Biarritz to the west; the Pyrenees and Spain to the south; and the wine regions of Gaillac and Fronton to the north.

The nearest airport - served by Easyjet, British Airways and Air France plus others - is Toulouse, which is less than an hour's drive away. Two other airports - Pau and Carcassonne - also serve the area, they are both less than two hours' drive from Latoue.

N.B. Our price includes all linen & towels [including pool towels]. A great saving on weight and space whether flying or travelling by car

The village of Latoue is located on the D8, midway between the market towns of Aurignac and St. Gaudens. It is approximately 12 miles from junction 21 of the A64 motorway. It is in the French 'département' of Haute-Garonne (31) and the local area, known as the Comminges, lies between the hills of Gascony and the striking mountains of the Pyrenees.

Latoue has a small bar, which is closed Monday to Wednesday, at the weekend Anna-Marie makes bread and cakes on the premises and can be bought from the bar. Latoue is served by a mobile baker most days, who has a good stock of bread, cakes, croissants, eggs, wine, etc, while all other daily requirements can be obtained either in Aulon, where there is a small supermarket, post office and a bar which also sells petrol, a 5 minute drive or in St Gaudens, a ten minute drive from Latoue. In St Gaudens you will find supermarkets, bakers, butchers, greengrocers, newsagents, pharmacy, banks, post office, hairdressers, bars and restaurants.

  • During the main holiday season, our rentals are from Saturday to Saturday. For late bookings and out of season, we are flexible on the start and departure days

    Together with La Maison Fleurie, Gîtes Haute-Garonne has three well-equipped gîtes with various rental options. For consideration to everyone; we only rent two properties at any one time [except where all guests are known to each other, then we rent out three properties, the fourth is occupied by ourselves] and this is guaranteed.

    We live on site and therefore able to greet you and answer any enquires that you may have.

My wife and I arrived at La Grange for our Honeymoon In September 2012 and we were blown away by how beautiful this place is. We wanted a relaxing time away after the wedding and we couldnt of stayed at a better place. It has everything you need here to relax and have a good time with a supermarket 5 a minute drive away. Fran and Ronnie went above and beyond. The buildings within the location are so diverse and unique to each room. The property we stayed in, you couldnt fault and had a beautiful Centre Piece light hanging from the ceiling in the kitchen. The swimming pool was lovely to relax around and we met some great people also staying there too. Fran and Ronnie were so accomodating making you feel welcome as soon as you walked through the gates. Myself and my wife couldnt of asked for a better honeymoon and we have told many friends/family about this place and we will be looking at going back in the future. Overall Thank you Fran and Ronnie for making our Honeymoon worth remembering. :-)

Can’t recommend enough! 6 Adults 1 teenager and a 7 year old stayed here in comfort. Wonderful house though we lived in the Pool and when we weren’t In the pool we were in the outside Kitchen / BBQ area most of the time. Our youngest had a great time swimming and exploring the vast grounds with a friend he made that was staying in the gite (Which is ALSO 1st class and available if you need even more space!). You won’t be disappointed huge rooms and a village location just 10 mins or so from the town with its supermarkets etc. When we weren’t by the pool we drove to Spain (about an hour or so drive away, plus trips to Tarbes, Lourdes and Luchon) Weather was great 30+ most days but with GB TV if it did cloud over. When the boys weren’t exploring or in the pool they were watching films in the cinema room with its projector. Francesca was a wonderful host, on site if needed but never imposing or in the way a perfect hostess who runs an excellent establishment in a truly wonderful location. Book it and you will not be disappointed!

Perfect retreat!!!

Wow! La Maison Fleurie is an absolutely beautiful French farmhouse filled with perfectly fitting antique pieces of furniture creating an atmospheric French property. Any budding chefs would have a ball in the superbly equipped kitchen and the outside dining/bbq/bar had us eating, drinking and enjoying social family evenings in peace and tranquility. The swimming pool was wonderful and equipped with a solar shower! Additionally with young children we were happy to find the pool area was secured with fencing to ensure no child could wander in there unsupervised which helped us all to relax. Francesca was the perfect hostess and made us feel completely relaxed and welcome. Our one complaint - one week wasn't long enough!!

We had the most amazing holiday here. The location was beautiful, the accomidation breath taking and the owners were so welcoming. Each year we find new places to stay and can normally find faults with them, however we could not find any faults, even the 14 hour drive to Latoue was lovely, and can not wait to return. We had two children under 5 years and an elderly woman staying with us and everything was thought of for them, their safety was concidered and Francesca and her family did everything to make sure we were all happy.

I could not recommend this place highly enough and we are looking forward to returning soon.

After a wonderful holiday last year in Latoue, we came back this year for again a great holiday. The house, garden and swimming pool are still very special. And also very special is Francesca the owner of the place. She is hard working, always friendly, you hardly see her but she is always around when you need her. We were with 2 families with 6 youngsters between 17 and 21 years. They also had a great time at the pool and watching movies in the video room. We enjoyed the rides through the Pyrenees. Luchon is a place you have to go to in the evening for a nice diner on one of the many terraces. The highlight of our holidays was a day of cayoning in Spain. Grand ma and grandpa joint us for a week. They stayed in the smaller apartment La petite maison.
We would absolutely recommend this property. You feel rich to spent your holidays in such a special house.
