My wife and I bought this property over 20 years ago. We lived in it for several years, and raised our son. For the past 6 years we have rented it out as a weekly summer rental and a ten month school year rental.
Why they chose this property
We love the Okanagan, and Trout Creek in Summerland provides the best of both worlds . 20 minutes south to Penticton (a family friendly town of approximately 34,000) and 40 minutes north to Kelowna, the hub of the Okanagan, with approximately 125,000 inhabitants. Kelowna's airport caters to international as well as national flights, and is one of the fastest growing airports in the country.
What makes this property unique
This area boasts 304 days of sunshine with summer temperatures in July and August that average 28 degrees. If you like golfing, visiting world renowned Okanagan wineries, or shopping at the famous Saturday Farmers' Market, Penticton is the place to be for summer fun. Known as the 'Peach City', not only by the giant peach on Okanagan beach, but also for its Peach Festival that runs early every August, Penticton offers something for everyone.
