|Minimum Stay||3 nights|
This is a lovely and cozy studio located in the charming 18th district of Paris, just 3 minute's walk from Guy Mocquet metro station and five stations from Champs Elysée. Close to all amenities, a stone's throw away from the super markets, restaurants, post office, pharmacies, typical markets, boutiques etc etc. Please know that the apartment is situated on the ground floor, actually I have a wrong comment which mention the upper floor. The apartment comprises of a main room with a large windows facing the court yard, a big and comfortable bed (160X200cm). A large closet. Separated kitchen, with large window, open onto another patio (so no unpleasant odeurs), there is a small dining table, washing machine, microwave, one induction hot plate, a big fridge, and coffee maker. The white tiled bathroom is an ensuite with shower, sink and WC. Optimized space.The apartment is equipped with cable TV, free WIFI internet connection, free phone calls to France and USA and other countries. Linen and towels are included. Hope to hear soon from you.
I am french citizen, southamerican born. I am well travelled, and enjoy meeting new people. I speak, english, french, spanish and italian.
Monica purchased this apartment in 2008
I used to live in this area ,in Paris. Is plenty of life and is very typical. Builduing is very nice. One step from metro. Five metro stations from Champs Elysées. The studio is really lovely!
The studio is very quiet and you are very close to the metro station and all commodities.
It was nice and cosy apartment, rather small and dark, but perfect, if you are looking for a place to sleep and prepare just a quick meal, when sightseeing in Paris. It is very close to metro station and you can easily walk to the cafes in Montmartre. The lady with the keys didn't speak English, but the communication was OK, even though we couldn't speak much French. Communication with Monica was very easy though. We recomend it very much! my partner and i (late 20s-early 30s) had a lovely stay at this apartment. it really is the perfect location to stay in paris, only a small walk up to the sacre cour... these streets are lined with fantastic cafes, restaurants, patisseries etc etc. the contact with monica the owner was excellent and i really felt safe throughout the whole process and for those of you lacking in the French-speaking department, have no fear the man that met us with the keys spoke perfect english! really a home from home for a long-term couple looking for a reasonably priced apartment to stay in a perfect location... much better than a hotel.
The apartment is in an excellent location, only a 2 minute walk to the Metro. You can also walk to Sacre Coeur and Moulin Rouge quite easily. The apartment itself is very small but for the price, is excellent value for money. We found it quite dark with the window shutters but we were hardly in the apartment so this was fine.
We had some language barriers with the lady who dropped off the keys, as she does not speak any english, so if you book this apartment and connot speak any french i would reccommend you learn a few basic phrases in french so you can communicate with her. It will make life much easier!
The owner was very helpful and always responded to any queries really quickly.
Finally, the review entitled 'Our Stay in Paris' left on March 3rd 2009 is definitely NOT about this apartment. There are no balconies and there is not a seperate bedroom and you don't need to walk up 75 stairs to reach the apartment. I had read this review and expected the apartment to have a balcony, so was quite confused why it didn't - now I know why!
it was a lovely flat with all the essentials and the area was safe, quiet and so easy to get to everywhere with all shops local. we had some language problems with the lady that met us there as she spoke no english and the microwave hadn't got a plug but i would go there again. Sofa bed was comfy and shutters on the windows made it lovely and dark in the morning
Perfect for anyone who wants a quiet and safe home base in a beautiful building. The decor is nice and fresh, and the place was clean and tidy. The kitchen was great for making a quick meal with fresh produce and bakery items you can get nearby. Shops/internet/etc right around the corner.
What made it excellent, though, was the understanding service. My flight was delayed for hours in the air so I wasn't able to let anyone know I would be late - the gentleman who arranged to give me the keys was so kind and understanding about this. I know many renters would have charged me a huge "after hours" fee (or left me without a place to stay that night) so I highly recommend.
The studio apartment was perfect for us and it had all we needed. Very close to the nearest tube, and an amazing bakery just a few minutes away! :) We'd definitely come back! C & P
