Photos and Description of this 3 bedroom holiday cottage in St Laurent la Vallee - Cayerou 2 (or Cayerou 3)

This semi detached picturesque renovated gîte is located on a large private property in rural and woody surroundings at only 4 km from the charming village of St.-Laurent-la-Vallée, 8 km from the town of Belves founded by the Celts and at 8 km from Castelnaud, famous for its splendid castle.

In the garden there is a large swimming pool (6 x 12m) with a tiled sun terrace, to be shared with the guests of the other semi detached gite Cayerou 2 (also sleeps 6).

There is a private terrace with sufficient garden furniture. The terraces of Cayerou 2 and Cayerou 3 are separated by a stone wall to ensure maximum privacy.

From the garden you have a wide view of the beautiful surrounding nature.

For larger families or groups of friends holidaying together, the two semi detached gites can be let together at a reduced price.

Both gite has the same layout.

Interior: Cosy rustically decorated living/dining room including: a large wooden dining table and 6 chairs, 4 armchairs and a coffee table, cupboard.

Open kitchen including: a large fridge/freezer combination, electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, oven and microwave. Separate storage space.

3 compact bedrooms: Gr.fl.: 1 bedroom (2 single beds for Cayerou 2, 1 double bed for Cayerou 3)

1st floor: 2 bedrooms (double bed).

Bathroom with a: bath, washbasin, toilet.

Parking space for 2 cars on the premises.

Cayerou is the ideal spot from which to explore the pretty riverside villages such as Beynac and La Roque Gageac, seemingly impossibly built into the side of a cliff. The medieval Sarlat, the bastides of Domme and Limeuil, where the Dordogne River and Vezere river met, Les Eyzies and the Vezere valley, are all within a 20miles from the house.

  • During high season the changeover day is Saturday, flexible the rest of the year.
    Arrivals - Saturday afternoon after 4.00 o’clock,
    Departures - Saturday morning by 10.00 o’clock.
