My Excellent Lodge Break!

I stayed at the lodge with a few of my friends for a relaxing getaway and we were not disappointed!
The lodge was beautifully presented, with a modern interior (including plasma TVs, whirlpool bath, modern kitchen, en suite to master bedroom), extremely clean and situated on the edge of lake. What more can you ask! There was also BBQ and outdoor patio dining facilities, which we didn’t get around to using, as it was a little chilly!
There is a nice gym, spa and leisure centre on site with a pool and steam room, and a restaurant to dine out in. But there is really little need to leave the lodge if you don’t want to, we got some shopping from the Tesco and Booths (a couple of miles down the road) and spent most of the weekend enjoying the lodge.
I think there are some good places to visit in the area too, although we didn't quite get around to exploring.
I would recommend this lodge for anyone to stay in! I look forward to returning later in the year!

Owner's Response: We love relaxing at the lodge as well and it always makes us feel really good and especially pleased when guests tell us that they have enjoyed their stay.
We need to point out that the bath is a corner bath and not a whirlpool.
