Yards from the beach, in an elevated location, this charming Victorian ground floor conversion has stunning views across the bay towards the harbour, with miles of golden sands to 3 golf courses, various water sports and other leisure pursuits.The house is fully refurbished and well equipped to a high standard providing a high level of comfort for guests  who return regularly. Elie, situated in the delightful East Neuk of Fife has miles of golden sands, 3 golf courses, various water sports, tennis courts, beautiful coastal walks and many other leisure pursuits. Historic St Andrews, the home of golf and packed with interesting shops and restaurants, is a 15 minute drive away. Nearby, quaint coastal fishing villages offer boat trips along the coastline and an abundance of art and craft galleries that line the cobbled lanes and wends.

The property is based on the ground floor with a spacious lounge with two leather sofas scattered with throws and cushions, a designer coffee table, well stocked book shelf, digital HD TV and DVD, polished hardwood floor, open fire and large bay window with a window seat overlooking the harbour and beach. There is a private driveway for parking and terraced garden overlooking the beach and harbour, with BBQ and garden furniture. This is a great place for dinning, sun bathing or watching the world go by. Unlimited Wi-Fi is also available.

There are 3 bedrooms - 1 double (5ft. king size bed) with French doors and views across Elie Bay; 1 twin ,1 with 3ft. bunk beds. The dining kitchen is fully fitted with white 'Shaker' style units with beech worktops, beech flooring, Neff double oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer . There are wonderful views from the circular glass dinning table through to the conservatory, leading from the kitchen which is a beautiful, bright sunny room with views over the bay.

There is a utility room with washing machine and tumble drier. The Italian tiled bathroom has a Victorian tub bath, corner power shower, bidet, toilet and basin and there is also a separate toilet with basin.

The property has a spacious hall and vestibule with interesting original art work throughout. It is freshly painted in pale seaside colours to reflect the natural hues of the sea and sky.

Golf Courses: There are 43 golf courses in Fife, including 6 at St Andrews, the home of golf, just 15 miles to the North Elie water sports windsurfing, canoeing, sailing, pedaloes, boat trips, inflatable rides, water skiing, mountain bikes places to eat.

There are a wide selection of coffee shops, bars and restaurants in Elie. A few of our favourites are: Ship Inn only 50m walk from the accommodation, the Ship Inn is a family friendly environment, offering healthy portions of home made food.

The Pavillion beside Elie Sports Club, a 5 minute walk, simple home cooked and good value, breakfasts, lunch, dinner and all day snacks including delicious home bakes.

Golf: FIFE can offer you some of the finest golf courses in Scotland, if not the world. It would be difficult to find a town or village in Fife that does not have a golf course. Elie, boasts 2 golf courses, a 9 hole and an 18 hole. The golf here is in keeping with the holiday atmosphere where enjoyment is the main priority. The real character of the golf course is a stretch that takes golfers out to the sea and, with a wind off the Firth of Forth, leaves one in no doubt as to its seaside character. The Old Course St Andrews 20 minutes drive away is traditionally known as the most famous golf club in the world and has hosted the Open Golf Championship on many occasions. A few miles away you will discover a selection of other delightful Fife golf courses well worth considering such as Ladybank, Crail and Leven Links.

A returnable security deposit of £100.00 is payable prior to you holiday and is returnable in the week following your holiday on the house being left as found, i.e no excess cleaning or damages.

Notes: There are a few steps from the garden up to the front door of the property. Once inside the property is perfect for elderly or infirm guests as the views from the house are amazing and the window seat or the garden terrace are both perfect places for relaxing. Just wonderful!

We had the most wonderful few days here in Dalmore. It deliverded what it said, and more!

Morning coffee in the conservatory watching the world go by, a brisk walk along the beach, and all before breakfast! Evenings were spent with a candlelit dinner looking out over the bay, a roaring log fire and a bottle of wine. We couldn't have asked for more - just a longer break........next time!

A peaceful and inspirational getaway

I was in the middle of writing my thesis when I came to the Dalmore beachhouse with my family. At that time of year the sea air is crisp and reviving, which simply makes it all the more rewarding when you choose to relax later on by the open fire inside. Everyday I would work on my thesis by the bay window in the lounge, fire on, (music optional), taking in the glorious view. The tranquil combination of walking the many inspiring beaches between my studies and coming back to the house to write fuelled my creativity and motivation.

I have always loved the beautiful East Neuk, whether I choose to visit the neighbouring fishing villages, walk the stunning coastline or play some fantastic golf courses. Some of the fantastic nearby pubs serve a cosy and welcoming atmosphere which always goes well with a real ale or a wee dram.

Dalmore is truly in a class of its own. With an unbeatable location and a magnificently panoramic view of Elie Bay, there is no place like it for anyone wanting to rest, recharge or simply escape.

This year we welcomed many families to Dalmore who were visiting relatives studying at St Andrews Universities. A Blissful Escape for Two

What better way to spend a weekend away from studies than to be by the seaside? My boyfriend and I stayed at Dalmore in Elie for my birthday on a romantic getaway. As an international student, it is a joy being able to see more of Scotland, and Elie is an incredible sight. Dalmore is situated right on the water, a stone's throw from the town and the surrounding beaches. We were able to walk all around the village and by the water without many cars around and all within relatively close distance.

We enjoyed venturing to Lady's Tower and the lighthouse, the landscape breathtaking, the views across the sea inspiring. I was even able to get some reading done for my coursework, curled up by the fire with the stunning backdrop of the water and beach behind, while my boyfriend went to the golf course to hit some balls.

There's a special warmth to the place that we felt when we took part in the village celebration of Guy Fawkes Night. We gathered with the locals and the tourists for a bonfire at Ruby Bay and fireworks show over the water, complete of course with hot dogs and bon bons. The Deli offers its own local charm, as one woman assured me that they sell the best olives, bar none.

All of this excitement from the home base of the darling beach house with its beautiful garden entrance and wonderful interiors with seashells and warm throws, a great space to relax and enjoy each other's company. Whether it's going to the nearby Ship Inn for a nightcap sat by the fireplace, or sipping hot chocolate from the Pavillion walking around the village, a stay at Dalmore in Elie is a lovely home away from home.

Wonderful House with stunning sea views

As soon as I saw the house on the website I knew it was the one for us as I had walked past it hundreds of times having spent every summer as a child in Elie. However, nothing prepared us for the amazing views from the lounge and conservatory or the beautiful, stylish and comfortable interiors. It is quite simply stunning and we are already booked to go back in December. We sat for hours on the window seats in the lounge reading or just staring out to sea watching the wind and kite surfers. We took long walks on the beaches and enjoyed evening drinks in the Ship Inn. My husband is recovering from a stroke and he found it very therapeutic to be by the sea but also to be so relaxed in a home away from home. The house has everything you need for sunny or rainly weather - lucky for us it was sunny! Plenty of games, satellite TV, wi-fi and boogie boards and even a canoe! The kitchen is bright and modern and the bathroom is large with an amazing free standing bath which even my 6" 4 husband could lay out in! There is a useful information pack provided which will point you in the direction of all the local attractions. We ate in some good restaurants nearby including the Peat Inn, which is 15 minutes drive, and Craig Millar at 16 West End, which is 5 minutes away. Elie has are some lovely shops and cafes including a great Deli and there is a good farm food shop a few minutes away.

I have stayed at Dalmore in Elie four times and can truly say it is my favourite place to be on holiday.If you are looking for a quiet,relaxing time with teriffic views then this is the place to be.
The property has always been in first rate condition when we arrive and is a true home from home.with magnificant sea viiews and a stones throw from all Elie has to offer.
Dalmore is also the perfect spot to explore the East Neuk and is only fifteen minutes from St.Andrews.
