New construction 2015 with private ocean view decks, WiFi HD TV. King sized bed. Self contained suite with mini kitchen total square footage of each suite is about 400 sq'. We are very close to Baker Beach and the Hiking trail at Francis Point Provincial Park. Both of these destinations offer great Ocean views and beach combing. Just to be clear, if you book this listing through VRBO you are booking Suite #2 - we also have a second suite (also shown in photos) -- TO CHECK AVAILABILITY ON OUR other SUITE PLEASE CHECK VRBO LISTING NUMBER 791550.

Our recent policy changes since covid are still in place, we ask all and past guests to please read our changes that may have come into effect since your last visit so there are no surprises for your stay and billing.

Please note our suites are NOT really set up for a lot of cooking like frying foods but we do offer an outside BBQ however.

Wonderful hosts, beautiful surroundings

Thank you Wayne and Kathy for being so accommodating and providing us with a wonderful two day stay! The breakfast was amazing, it was presented so attractively and was one of the best breakfasts we've had in a long while. We wish we could eat like that every day! Having coffee in the morning looking over the ocean was so peaceful. Baker beach, was only five minites away. This little pebble beach was really peaceful and beautiful and our little son just loved it there. It was unexpected to get yelled at by the aggressive people in the residence on the left side of the beach. As they sat on their property overlooking the public beach they yelled at my wife because she took a small piece of driftwood from the very large driftwood lean-to their kids had apparently built on the beach. Strange to have someone be so unnecessarily aggressive and confrontational in such an idyllic setting. Keep in mind this has absolutely nothing to do with Garden Bay and I still highly recommend Wayne and Kathy's as well a visit to Baker Beach.

Beautiful area and incredibly comfortable stay

Our vacation suite was incredibly comfortable with a beautiful view and easy access to Baker Beach. Our hosts were helpful and accommodating offering great suggestions for hikes and touring the area. This was our 2nd stay and we thoroughly enjoyed it and all the adventures we had over the few days in the area.

Great spot in a great area.

Great location/views!! Pleasant area in which to walk. Picturesque beach nearby. Short drive yo restaurants, groceries, other outlets. Madeira Park is roughly at the half-way point along The Sunshine Coast -- there is much to explore and enjoy in either direction. Wayne and Kathy were solicitous and caring hosts.
